Harrier

by mavman · NoLimits Coaster 2 · Jun 23rd, 2014
Description
Harrier is a B&M invert unlike any other. Set in the woods, harrier will fly high above the trees and dive down from the sky.

This ride features a unique layout, with a one of a kind twisted dive drop. The layout features intense turns and twisting inversions.

Enjoy your ride on Harrier!

Comments and rates are appreciated!

Also, the environment is from Kyle Sloane's Heretic!

I'm new to this so bear with me. It would take me a century to perfect what you have made here. It's amazing. The track runs very smooth and it would seem very enjoyable to ride. I'm also amazed that you took the time to make a line queue to make the ride even look more realistic. Hopefully I can learn to make tracks like that soon!

Really really cool invert. I thought you pulled it off well and definitely added it to my liked tracks!

Technique
Trackwork - Small complain that some of the banking felt a little off at the bottom of the first drop and the entry to the batwing. There were some parts of this ride that were literally perfect - I was really impressed! (particularly around the entry to the 0G)

Supports - Good work on the supports. They were efficient and suitable. The only little little complain was that one of the loop supports wasn't quite in the right place.

Scenery - You did some good support scenery work with the queue line. I'd have liked you to section off the pathway from the track with some additional fencing, it felt like a bit of an oversight considering all the work that went into this!

Adrenaline
Pacing - The pacing on the ride was superb - never felt like it was going to give up!

Layout - The layout was good and fun throughout the ride! I liked the combinations of elements and turns.

Forces - I'd agree with Turbo that the first drop was perhaps a tad forceful.

Uniqueness
Layout / Elements - Completely unique throughout - You could see inspirations of various rides within it I felt - but you really made this your own!

Scenery - The queue line was nice, the ride could've done with some extra scenery to reinforce the theme of the ride!

Realism
The ride felt very buildable. The length, supports and height were all very reasonable.

Likeness to manufacture - I really thought you did well with the B&M style - I especially think you did a good job with the first drop - it was definitely how I'd imagine B&M to pull that element off (in teh unlikely event they tried to!)

Feel free to pm me about your rate :)

This was fun :)

------------------------

- Technical -
I wish I could say everything was fine, but there was one area that concerned me. That was the first drop. It was taken really fast, and the G's were a bit excessive for a B&M. Other than that though the ride was quite nice :)

- Adrenaline -
Fast, powerful, exciting. I loved most everything from this ride and I'm sure others would too. The only real issue was the first drops G's.

- Uniqueness -
There wasn't a single part that wasn't unique! The first drop, the element order, the layout, everything! Even the barrel roll before the lift was set up in a place I seldom see. Nice job here

- Realism -
The realism truly ties into the previous 3 ratings. The only thing that really brings this score down was the intense first drop. Although I'd still consider it to be realistic I think it would need to be stretched out a little or something to loosen the high G's.

- Rider Value -
I actually really enjoyed this ride. The ride was very intense and decently long. I liked every bit of it and I'm sure any guest would as well.

I really liked this ride, so much so that you have been added to my likes list. good job!
