Carbonated is an Intamin Accelerator coaster inspired by Kingda Ka at Six Flags Great Adventure. It consists of an S-bend into the launch section where it launches you from 0-100 MPH in 5 seconds. Exiting the launch, it rockets up to the 330 ft. high tophat. After the tophat, riders enter a banked curve into an airtime hill and go through another intense banked curve into the final brake run.
REVISION 2 CHANGELOG: Added trim brakes, added complete stop before launch, and re-profiling
STATS: Top Speed: 100 MPH Height: 330 ft. Track Length: 2384 ft. Airtime Hills: 2 Inversions: 0 Ride Time: 35 seconds (Dispatch to Final Brakes Engaged) Number of Trains: 2 Construction: Hand-Built!
Hmm, it's weird how the brakes slow you down so much. For me it slows down but still goes over the tophat at around 20 MPH. Make sure you're using NL 1.6 or newer, I designed this w/ improved friction.
And thanks for the tip on how to transition from the drop to the airtime hill
I've downloaded the "new" version. I may have seen that it could be your first coaster. I know how hard it is but you'll be fine at the end.
First, the brake section should be before the launch, not directly after the station. Second, i didn't have the chance on going further after the launch. The brake on top of it is too strong and stop the train. Then, i've killed myself with the rollback. You could slowdown the launch speed and take off the brake of the hill.
So for the problems with the drop, you could go straight instead of going directly on the right and curving the track to death. You go straight and at one point you could turn to the right and make the airtime you're trying to reach. The should help to soft the curve from being too steep and leave you enough room to an enjoyable experience. The track doesn't have to be the shortest with those kind of launch ride. Take the space you need.
I've seen you added more G-Force to stop the train on the last bid of brake. As i said before, take the time needed to stop this rocket and to avoid guest to be crush into their seats.
I added a complete stop before the launch and some trims before and after the tophat to slow it down. Don't really know how to fix the unrealistic forces; it looks realistic at least. :/
Thanks for sharing. You really need to re-work the beginning of the coaster as long as the part after the drop who is completely curve and painful. You should slowdown the launch part also as we arrive way to fast at the top of the coaster. You could add a element of wait at the brake section before the launch or slow the arrival and then speed it up. Thank. Good luck
