Onslaught is a massive Gravity Group wooden roller coaster featuring insane airtime, blazing speed, and several exciting new and unique elements within it's nearly 5000 foot long track.
Gravity Group recently developed a stronger lift motor, which gave them the ability to substantially increase lift speed. However, since they wanted to retain the anticipation of a slow lift hill, they decided to split the lift into two parts like Steel Dragon 2000, the latter of which would accelerate the train from 7 MPH to 14 MPH! Check out the nearly perfect floater airtime in the back row on that crazy first drop!
Despite being nested in a picturesque lakeside environment, this beautiful coaster is anything but serene. Prepare to be exhilarated after experiencing one of the world's premier roller coasters! Enjoy your ride on Onslaught.
All comments and ratings are greatly appreciated, and will definately help me improve my future coasters.

I do want to ride yours to study more better transitions that will never leave any bumpy feeling! If only I had a NL Packager lol. I am paying ''great'' respect (of course) to all you did for this splendid project!!!!!!!
Tech: I absolutely HATE giving out perfect tens, but this ride deserved it. The first drop was amazing, I loved the double down and how it just seems to get faster and faster. The shaping was right on target even though you were doing something totally unique and different. The g's were the perfect amount for this king of ride and I loved the weird outer-banked hill. Adr: the pace never let up and the ride just kept going the entire way. The surprisingly steep drop at the end of the long upwards hill was very thrilling and all of the direction changes left me disoriented. Orr: Not much for themeing, but WOW on the elements. You managed to pull off a completely unique coaster without destroying realism.
I think this is a very well designed coaster overall. The pacing is great and I love the twists and bumps ????????? even the tiny ones towards the end. I think the speed shift at the top of the first hill is a little odd. It was unexpected, so I'll give you credit for that, but odd nonetheless. Also, the tunnels feel a bit pointless to me ????????? especially the first one (it's so short, I'm not sure what you were trying to achieve with it). I think the ride would be just as, or more successful without them. I think my favorite part is when you slow us down right in the middle. It's a nice break that sets us up nicely for the speed at the end of the ride.
What a RIDE!! The acceleration at the top of the ascension is amazing, and this ride is configured like a perfect dance--it was smooth, fast and flawless. Thanks!
BT-whoa. This was near flawless. The only part of the track that I felt was odd was sort of "smashed" hill that switched slopes halfway up. The transition over the crest of this hill just seemed to pull over too much. I think this was intended for extreme airtime, but it just struck me as odd. The supports were good, but a few more wide supports could have been used in some places.
A-This ride NEVER let up. Airtime throughout, and lats were used in good places.
O-I don't even think I have seen half the elements in this ride before. The two-chain lift was also a great idea.
This ride was amazing! I really can't think of something thates wrong with it. The supports were were realistic and the elements were original. The paceing was very nice. I would have hesitated in real life before ride this one. The track was also very... odd. but it still made a great ride.
This ride was really smooth and the pacing felt really appropriate for the ride. A couple of elements were really cool on this ride -- in particular the double-down off the first hill and that wicked turn around just before the end of the ride. Really fun coaster.
haha, the lift screwed with me as i had it on 400%.
anyway, this ride was very well done, nice job. Technically there werent any flaws, and the ride was great. Adrenaline was good, the second drop was really a surprise and very shocking, easnt expecting it at all, im not sure if i liked it or not, i like the out of control feeling, and then it slowed down wuite a bit there :\. Original coaster, great job, great layout. nice job.
Fun ride. I'm not going to rate this but all I wanted to say that this was one of the best woodies I have seen on this site, or in this case, the history of ever.
Yea...well i can tell you right now that this ride was completely insane!!!!! Everything was perfect. The speed and adrenaline was INCREDIBLE, it was amazingly smooth, and was very original!! I rode it over and over and over again. Fantastic, i'm sure it would be amazing if it was real.
The ride was technically and originiality-wise outstanding, but adrenaline-wise, the ride was 24/7 intensity and speed, and I had no sense of actually being on the ride. It was too fast imo, especically for a "realistic" ride. I couldn't see this as realistic at all, sorry.
Tech - no discussion here. The smoothness was just incredible, and everything else was technically perfect too.
Adren - One Hell of a ride, although I would've loved to see some prelift action, low-lying speed bumps or one of these GG Underground tunnels. But you can't get everything on one single ride, can you? Anyway, the greatly floating first drop including the double down was a particulary great Idea, and so was the extremely steep second straight drop feeling as if it had another lift hill before it.
Originality - well, I first thought: oh, not another one of these GGs. Yes they're great, but everyone seems to be building one these days. So I was astonished how original your layout actually was. The fast lift and the elements themselves made the ride stand out to be by far the best GG I've seen to date, and so you gain a good originality score as well, even if the coaster type is being used often.
One last question, I LOVE your renderings I saw on nldc, they look so professional! Do you have a special program, or how do you make them? Sorry if that's a stupid question, but I was so blown away by those!
This has to be the greatest ride I've ever ridden. Smooth as a baby's bottom. Adrenalin flows through this beast, long but not to long. The orignality can be found all through it, especially the first drop. Great Job.
Improve your skills? This coaster barely needs any improvement in my opinion. The track was really smooth, and the layout was excellent. I really loved the view of the coaster coming off the lift hill, and the speed was great. My only issue would be with the theming and terraforming; I think that with such a phenomenal job that you did on the coaster that the surrounding area could have been spiced up more. Still a great ride and worthy of an above average rate. TFTR.
The ride was great the first drop was priceless and the airtime was amazing throughtout the entire ride. The "Intamin Who" Sign on the front of the train is the biggest disappointment in the entire ride this why I am only willing to give you a 9.5 for the originality. (put a different sign on the front and upload it and I will give you tripple tens) Great ride though!
Wow, usually i don't give out straith 10's but this was really mindblowing! That speed up during the climb scared me a bit when i had it on 400%, Then after that first drop, an aboslutely smooth and flawless track. It's actually too smooth to be a woodie! Also i really loved that 80 degree drop. When i climbed up that hill and came over that crest of the hill i really was like Holy sh*t! The first time that i'd actually felt the adrenaline, while watching at a coaster! [shocked] Great job on that! Also That banked airtime hill was also fun. I'd noticed on that, that redunzelizer inspired you to try out something like that. Anyway, This was the best NoLimits Coaster ride i've ever had so far. Send this creation over to CCI, with some luck they might even build it [:D]
Super????????? job!
I hate giving out tens, this coaster is an exception. This is without a doubt the best Gravity Group coaster I have seen (NL and reality) The airtime was consistent, all drops were thrilling (especially the near vertical drop that the coaster crawls up and flies down with awesome airtime in the back) and the helix near the end was excellent. The lift was nice, the increase in speed gave the back seat a bit of airtime at the top of the lift hill, and right of the first drop, there is a mid-drop hill that is phenominal. The countless turns were as Gravity Group as it gets and the hundreds of head choppers were brilliant. The near vertical hill was incredible and thrilling, the supports were nice, no excessive trees (a good thing) the terraforming was great and all the 3ds were nice add ons. With all of this my frame rate was still high in the 80's!!!
