****DISCLAIMER****

Many people seem to believe that the inversion after the second vertical drop is a dive loop. It is NOT a dive loop. When downloaded, if one pays attention to the list of elements above, one would notice that it is in fact a ZERO-G STALL, meaning that it was created intentionally to look that way. I know, I know, "But B&M Dive Machines don't have zero-g stalls?" Well, I wanted to do something a little different. Think Mystery Mine's final inversion, or Goliath at Six Flags America, a la Dive Machine.

The "dive loop" is not a dive loop at all, but a zero-g stall. The rotation comes before the apex so that at the top of the inversion, you are just hanging out of your seat like you're on the moon. People seem to be hung up on the idea that that inversion is completely wrong; from a dive loop perspective, yes that is true, but that's NOT what it is.

End of disclaimer!

Pretty good ride. Two things I noticed right off the bat though that should help you next time around:

1. Dive loops and immelmans are "pointier" at the top. They'll be traveling the same speed you have them at, but since it's tighter on top they'll feel faster. First immelman could have been a bit tighter but the G's are like perfect on it so you're fine there. The dive loop had problems. It was a shame too because you really controlled the G's well until you got to that dive loop. The rotation is too fast and then it kind of stalls out. If you look at the dive loop from the side with the half loop portion of it on the left, trying to imagine a string pulling the whole thing up and to the left (direction of the hour hand on a clock at 10:30 if it was a clock) would have helped out. Also perhaps inclining it a bit like Gatekeeper's dive loop would have helped too, and added you with a bit more of a turn to play with at the bottom.

2. You have a couple areas where the banking is also a bump in the track, like the dive loop and zero G roll entrance. For the zero G roll, in areas like that sometimes I've found if you start banking maybe 10 degrees or so earlier it'll help out and soften a bump like that. Kind of like "pre-banking" to avoid that bump. Or you could curve the exit and entrance slightly so it's vaguely more like a corkscrew and cheat a bit.

Aside from what I mentioned above, the trackwork was pretty decent and the G's were kept well under control. You didn't have any pumps and bumps and the supports were mostly good as well. The giant thing at the top of the dive loop is a no-no, but you would have avoided that if the element was more pointy like I suggested because you wouldn't have as much of a span of track to cover and it wouldn't be needed. Supports are great aside from that. Also, why is the MCBR like 9 train lengths long? I know they're longer in real life than on a normal coaster, but yours was waaaaaaay long.

I liked your layout and I'm not sure when you uploaded it as a fantasy coaster since I think it's pretty passable. The barrel roll before the final brakes was a really good idea because dive machines always drag ass in those areas and barrel rolls are a good idea for slow sections. You made a nice environment, a realistic and interesting layout, and overall it looked like something Merlin would build. Work on the dive loop shaping for next time.
