Whirlpool was created primarily for the Cutback Coaster Contest hosted on the site. However, in addition I decided to design something that could be a potential replacement for the Boomerang coaster at Knott's Berry Farm. The ride is a Gestlauer Euro-Fighter (listed as Infinity coaster, but the actual type would be a Eurofighter with lapbar trains) that is 1,600 ft. long, 85 ft. tall, features 3 inversions, and has a max speed of 47 MPH. The ride is intended to be an extreme family coaster...in other words, it is a thrilling ride without being so intense and intimidating that it scares away those new to big roller coasters.
