Posted - 06/11/2006 : 7:03:47 PM Yes, I decided to start THE Official topic on the AHG. This will be the place to ask any questions you have regarding the program, and to say or ask anything about my new tutorial which will be posted and approved soon. So, any questions?

Posted - 11/03/2012 : 8:05:57 PM AHG will not change the banking on any track segment that you color pure black. Use this on camelback airtime hills. Color the crests, the negative g portion, pure black and their banking will remain zero.
Keep in mind you can utilize this technique to keep any banking you want on any elements, like turns and loops, etc. It doesn't necessarily have to be 0 banking either. |

Posted - 11/03/2012 : 3:31:57 PM That is because you need to use the color coding system because ahg doesn't work with negative Gs. Go look back at the tutorial on the first page because I don't remember exactly what to do. |

Posted - 02/10/2010 : 10:28:45 PM I've got green leading out of a dip and wanting the top of a camelback hill to be just a straight airtime hill. Then i have red leading into the turn at the base of the camelback hill. The segments at the top of the hill are black. Well, The track does not invert but it sways L to R with some banking before returning to the 0 banking base of the hill. it does this on TWO hills but does not do it on the other 3 hills. Anyone have any imput? I would refer to the pictures in the tutorial but ....yeah |

Posted - 04/06/2009 : 10:07:54 AM Hmmm.. I've done exactly what the tutorial says (I'm trying to make a 0-G-roll), but the outcome is just one straight piece of track!
What can I possible have been doing wrong? |

Posted - 02/15/2009 : 2:30:54 PM ^Hmm, yeah, that might work... Altho, probably not on something like a 97° drop... More like, completely vertical. |

Posted - 02/15/2009 : 2:24:59 PM If you put enough filter on the past 90° segment, probably 700+, it might not twist since the filter will smooth the banking out. |

Posted - 02/15/2009 : 12:15:44 PM ^Yes, but not succesfully. It will twist. |

Posted - 02/15/2009 : 12:11:38 PM If you have a 90 degree or more than vertical drop can you ahg it? |

Posted - 02/15/2009 : 10:54:05 AM AHG actually outputs the segments like that, depending on the value of segments you put in. However, if you are using a very small amount of segments on the input track (say, one segment for every 30 feet), the track will typically not come out very well. AHG works much better when the track you put through it has a lot of smaller segments; I usually use segments from 5-10 feet long (when handbuilding) for the best results. |

Posted - 02/15/2009 : 10:35:55 AM When I download some of the coasters from the exchange it has the really small segments like in the tutorial, does the program do that for you or do you have to make the segments really small yourself, or does the heartline generator do that. |

But if you want your precision to stay where it is, make the filter color very low - like next to black. I usually stage it. The last 2-3 segments are Black for banking and filter is like a shade of red that has a number of about 20. Then the next 3-4 are like 50. Then the next are like 70. Then my normal filter is like around 100. Some areas, higher, some lower. |

Posted - 12/23/2008 : 3:33:57 PM You need to up your precision on that part so that it follows your directions more precisely. |

Posted - 08/08/2008 : 07:09:08 AM Nope, there's no way to heartline those... |

Posted - 08/08/2008 : 06:20:21 AM yeah i have the same problem, it's a real biznatch, i found you have to ahg it yourself |
