Do you have a cool desktop? Mine makes me think of a Mac and Vista, I'm running XP Professional though.

That's really weird... the first image you linked to is one of the images I found last night after I posted my previous post saying I was going to search for some specific coasters. Shambhala was about the 2nd or 3rd coaster I searched for... we must have similar taste... I don't know what that says about you  |

You know what, I'm an idiot; I hadn't thought to just search google with only large images switched on, searching for the name of specific coasters. I'd just been searching for things like "2560x1440 roller coaster wallpaper" and things to that effect, ha!
Some of the photos of Cheetah Hunt are damn good. Gonna just search for other specific coasters; should find something, I'm sure!

I'm on my phone so it's hard to link it and all, but:
Search Google Images for "kumba repaint" and click on the first picture (orlandounited.com). It's a 4000x3000 colorful shot of the famous Kumba interlocking corks. If you have lots of icons it's not the cleanest desktop wallpaper, but it's a fantastic high-res picture.
For a cleaner shot, there's a good high-res Cheetah Hunt one with the turny tower against the blue sky with a good vignette. Would definitely work as a cleaner desktop. Just search Google Images again (maybe restrict to larger images) and you'll see what I'm talking about. There's a few versions of the same pic so some are larger than others, but from what I remember there is at least one that has dimensions similar to your request.

Still interested if anyone knows to any good roller coaster wallpapers in 2560x1440 or larger. I'd usually just use some boobs, but this is for my work computer, so it's not really appropriate
We have to show models to customers quite often, and my boss wants us to have wallpapers that say something about us each as engineering designers, but is still obviously appropriate. As a sort of conversation starter and help make the whole business of dealing with customers more personal. For me the obvious choice would be an awesome photo of an awesome coaster.
Only problem being that after looking for most of the afternoon, I haven't been able to find a decently sized image that I like, and the ones I have liked have been for a normal sized screen, so look like crap on the monsters at work |
