I'm a full time student and parent, yet I still find the time to make my supports detailed enough. Your point is no longer valid.

Posted - 04/13/2013 : 8:49:20 PM I honestly don't see why ASG is so horrible.. some of us have jobs/busy with school and don't really have the time to put a ton of detail in the supports. I personally love being able to finish building a ride, slap some prefabs on that bad boy and make it look halfway decent (well.. most of the time) But that is just MHO. |

Posted - 04/13/2013 : 3:51:55 PM The best way I can help you, is to tell you to never use ASG. ever. |

You're screwed lol. The way it's written (for a PowerPC processor, not Intel) and the fact that the upgrade to OSX Lion eliminated that functionality, you can't run it unless you use a virtual machine, boot camp, or if you revert your main OS back to Snow Leopard or earlier. The only hope at this point, i think, if for someone to write a supported version of the track packager for mac. Which, to be honest, would be a hell of a lot of fun as a summer project for me...
Oh good. I didn't want to ride downloaded tracks anyways... |

Posted - 03/10/2012 : 5:07:21 PM ^ Newton 2 is on coasterchamber.com, as is FVD and you can get HSAK here, it's at the bottom of the page. |

Posted - 03/10/2012 : 4:03:11 PM I can seem to find a working download for Newton 2. Or HSAK. Or FVDs. If someone could hook me up with any of those that would be great.
Love, me |

Posted - 02/27/2012 : 9:47:04 PM 99% of the objects I used came from the coaster sims pack. and 99% of that is ground tiles and fences.
Edit: After further investigation, it has to be the amount of objects in that particular file. Yay for pruning. |

Posted - 02/27/2012 : 9:24:01 PM this is about the size of each 3ds as a whole. depending on how many non-unique polygons you use the 3DS file becomes more and more likely to be difficult to export and may result in a corrupt or incomplete upload resulting in a subscript error. that's why boxes do better in export, and why OC never has issues exporting. when it surpasses a certain amount of polygons OC automatically optimizes the object and reduces it down to the least amount of polygons possible. it's annoying for high detail OC but runs amazing in the simulator. |

Posted - 02/26/2012 : 5:09:31 PM There's no extra cartextures included with the package. Also, I tried re-installing and got nothing.
EDIT: I even tried reducing the amount of objects in the package, and still got the error. Is there anything I can really do? |
| 4dfan |
Posted - 02/26/2012 : 3:56:10 PM well it works only with multiple cartextures but when the packager reads it it reads both as one file. that's why it can't export train textures with more than one cartexture on it. It's a primitive glitch and i think that just by adding the code for "read cartextures separated by semicolon separately" it might work. |
