Posted - 06/11/2012 : 11:19:39 AM On Wednesday June 6th Stinger at Dorney Park stranded riders for around 90 minutes. The cause of the malfuction was not released right away. All seats on the train were full at the time of the incident. All guests were able to exit the ride after the train was released from its catch car and lowered into the ride station. No injuries were reported though all guests were checked out by First Aid for safety reasons. After the guests were removed from the ride they received free Fast Lane passes for the rest of the day. The ride was closed until late Sunday to be looked over.
''There is nothing unusual about being stuck on a ride. The unusual thing about this issue was the amount of time the guests were stuck.'' - Jason McClure Dorney Park GM.
Of course this made the news and some news choppers were seen over the park because people don't get stuck on rides. |

Posted - 06/11/2012 : 7:56:46 PM FREE FAST LANE PASSES? I would gladly sit on a stalled train for 90 minutes if it means a ten minute wait for everything else :P |
