It is quite funny how they used SOPA/PIPA as a shield or measure to test how citizens would take it in and how they would respond to such call with the implementation of ACTA right within the midst.
And that is the reason why they were saying that the shutdown of Megaupload is not about SOPA nor PIPA when the have been eying to implement ACTA all along. Not quite fair if you ask me but since they are in the seat of power, we can't really do anything about it now. |

No the problem with politicians is that they're all complete utter morons that vote on things they don't understand at a remedial level who usually got there by being louder than their competition. This is how people like Rick Santorum come around.
Go to any university, find the outstanding student of the year or whatever that school calls it, and it will be some loud assertive dippoop in poli-sci or journalism that goes on later to enroll in law school. |
