why cant we do the trips by the amusement companies, like for all busch gardens parks, cedar fair, six flags etc. It would be cheaper instead of buying day passes just buy a season pass and save 100 or 150 dollars. Just my opinion.

Because of the way to park are situated, that's really undoable. In most regions, there are a lot of parks near each other from different companies. So even though we can't benefit from the season pass discount, the fact that the parks are really close together would save us even more on travel costs.

Actually, a Cedar Fair season pass purchase would make sense, since there is a collection of Cedar Fair parks in region 5.(Cedar Point, Kings Island, Michigan's Adventure, Geauga Lake's wild Water Kingdom, and Valleyfair.)

While buying a season pass may make sense to you, it is better when trying to negotiate for extra park services that we buy daily tickets at the group rate. This is why all of the theme park tickets are included in the price of the trip.

I'm up for anything as long as it isn't in the south. I don't know why people don't want to go up to the New England area! or Pennsylvania for that matter!
Oh, were you expecting something here?

Boulder Dash was the only good roller coaster.

congratulations, doesn't mean it's not worth going to again... In all honesty, the New England parks and the Penn/Atlantic parks are SO much better than most parks in the midwest.
Oh, were you expecting something here?

We tired a PA trip last year. I would not mind trying to do an all PA trip this year if we have interest. IMO, two trips are better then just one trip. Gives the masses a choice or two.

Expect a podcast via Ustream soon.

EDIT: If not all PA, I am willing to do the R3 trip as well. Just let me know about that one.

I think everyone's point with the survey is that they want to go to cedar point. [lol] So what parks would you all like to visit?

I would love to visit CP, HW and KI, but hopefully in 2012 since I'm planning on hitting Italy this year.

As for a secondary trip R3 *might* consist of the fallowing parks:

1. SFA
2. KD
3. Dorney Park
4. Hershey Park
5. Knoebles
6. SFGAdv
7. SFNE
8. LC

Eight days. Those parks, should be easy to do.

I can add BGE but it might increase the price of the trip beyond what people want to pay.
