American Dream Meadowlands is a new mega mall being built in New Jersey. The park plans to have an indoor themepark themed to Nickelodeon and an indoor waterpark themed to DreamWorks. So far we know that the park will be getting a Takabisha clone with lapbars and a 122 degree drop making it the steepest drop in the world, and a Gerstlauer spinner intertwined with it. The complex will also feature and indoor ski slope.

This project has been through many delays and setbacks but it seems like a 2019 opening might actually happen. Keep your fingers crossed!

It looks like they're proving how awesome the Takabisha layout is! I've just been amazed! :-)

I live about 40 minutes away from there. The mall itself has had a rough history during its construction, mainly with transportation, the adjacent Metlife Stadium, and other legal and financial problems. The mall has been under construction for years and the problems it endured led to a number of delays. Now that I'm seeing the coasters that will be added into the amusement park section of the mall, I better get myself ready for its opening, just as long as everything goes to plan.

I mean the company that will operate this mall also operates Mall of America and the West Edmonton Mall so I definitely have hope that this will turn out well.

Love the park name which sounds nostalgic, too! Kinda 1970's! :-)

The indoor Nickelodeon Universe theme park at American Dream will feature two record-breaking roller coasters by Gerstlauer. They consist of an intertwined Launched Euro-Fighter with a beyond-vertical drop and a Spinning Coaster whose cars rotate on a vertical axis as they move along the track.

"Featuring the best in family and adult entertainment, Nickelodeon Universe at American Dream has been designed to appeal to customers of all ages. By working with the best partners in the business, our park experience will be highly themed and offer one of a kind rides by Gerstlauer," Don Ghermezian, President Triple Five.

The Euro-Fighter boasts the world record for the steepest roller coaster drop, while the Spinning Coaster will hold the titles of the world's tallest and longest free spinning roller coaster.

"These two coasters, appealing to thrill seekers, will break three world-records combined! Gerstlauer has far exceeded our expectations with these new to market coasters and we're excited to have them on this journey with us," commented Gary Hanson, a management consultant at Triple Five.

"We have worked on many projects, but this will be unlike anything we have ever designed. Visitors to Nickelodeon Universe at American Dream are in for a great ride," said Siegfried Gerstlauer, Managing Director of Gerstlauer Amusement Rides.

This surely will be interesting with the way the rides are intertwined.

I didn't realize this is actually a thing now. Whenever I see somebody talk about this project I laugh and say "That will never happen. They've been trying for years." And now I've been skipping over this topic like it's nothing lol.

Awesome to see so many amusement parks popping up near me! The closest park to me used to be Rye Playland, and now Legoland and Nickelodeon Universe will both be 35 minutes from me.

That Gerstlauer is... huge and awesome. It's got a lot of Takabisha-esque style too with the similar drop and banana roll. What a sick coaster for a mall project.

So based on this concept art that appeared it seems that the Larson loop might actually be Intamin's version of the Sky Rocket 2.

Hmmm... I'd take the Premier sky rocket first I think. It's a good enough concept, but a little repetitious. It's not what I would expect from Intamin.

I think if there was more variance to the banking it would be incredible. Make one of those immelmans, say zero degrees or so, ya know, at the top and ad in some ejector, with a nice fast roll up. Kind like a reverse version of the twist and dive at Energylandia, maybe with the roll at the beginning, to paint a picture for ya. I think that would solve the repetitiveness, because it looks like this will still deliver a nice variation of forces. Seems better than the new double immelman six flags discover kingdom thing though, although the footprint kinda makes it not worth it, I'd rather take 2 baller flat rides like a drop tower squeezed in it's place or a euro fighter, which they already have, but in reference to other parks.

like a reverse version of this or this

So this image confirms the following coasters:

Takabisha clone
Gerstlauer spinner
Intamin triple launch concept
Intamin half pipe
Family suspended coaster (unknown manufacturer)

The drop tower also appears to be an S&S
