Figures Italian designer trash would endorse something as stupid as this park.

Well Dubai in general. Burj Khalfi or whatever it's called has 825 out of 900 rooms empty. It's even more of a waste than the Sear Tower has been over its entire lifetime.

If you haven`t noticed, its in Abu Dhabi, not Dubai, but that does not really change something.
Fun Fact:They tried to built up a Ferrari Park in Dubai too,but they failed,I think they *surpirse* ran out of money.

I don't give a rats ass it's in the middle east. Once they mature enough to stop killing everyone in the name of god or whatever I'll care. That area and all of the stupid religion poop is the source of 3/4 of our problems

Keep it ON-topic? We've already lost a number of valid topics to you pointlessly turning them into religious debates...STOP.

Meh, I beg to differ. It does look a tad sped up, but on the other hand it is a fast, FAST ass ride. Hell you need to wear goggles to ride.
So, my friend came up to me the other day and asked if I wanted a frozen banana, and I said no, but I want a normal banana later, so... yea.

I have a question: If this ride were built in the U.S. or Europe, would riders still be required to wear goggles despite the clear absence of sand storms?

It's not just about the sandstorms...it's to protect your eyes from anything that can fly into them....bugs, trash...(insert terrorist joke here). There are lots of tiny particulates in the air that at that speed would be severely dangerous.

I don't think it is because of severe harm as such but more insurance needs. could even be to stop your eyes watering due to the air speed so you can see where you are going. All speculation but I would say more believable than particle damage.

Now that I think about it...deserts are very dry, I now believe the goggles are to protect your eyes from drying out more than anything....or it could be for looks, lots of people that drive a Ferrari wear really cool protective goggles. It may be just part of the whole Ferrari experience.

"And just like in a Grand prix, riders have to wear goggles to protect their eyes from dust, all too common in this region of the Middle East." an excerpt from an online article found at the following web address:

If it was in Vegas I might be handing out goggles as well, although Vegas isn't quite as "sandy" since they're been urban sprawling the place to hell and back again for the last two decades.

Vegas went horizontal, Dubai and that area went vertical.

@LOEA..yeah. I did not find that funny at all. At least your rides come out better than your jokes.

It doesn't really matter what they build, buildings, parks, roller coasters or otherwise, who is actually going to go there? The majority of their laws are still based entirely within religious belief. What an utterly ridiculous place.

They also are beginning to run out of their oil money and realising that the tourist trade isn't as big as they'd hoped when they started spending all this money in and around the UAE.

Pointless coaster is pointless. 5 people a year will ride it.

Any point on religion and the Middle East will only lead to a frivolous debate that gets this topic closed. Any point on oil money will only lead to a political debate that gets this topic closed. Try leaving relevant comments such as, "The trim brakes really slow the ride", or, "It looks like there isn't much airtime".

It needs a few of those trims removed but otherwise it looks great!
