Summary:

Based on the currently being built Boardwalk Bullet, at the Kemah Boardwalk, the goal of this contest is to create a coaster in a very small footprint, yet with regular height and length. The focus of the contest will be airtime and adrenaline, but tech and originality won't be left out.

Template:

http://coastercrazy.com/track_exchange/de ... ?tid=12009

Rules
(you WILL disqualified when you break these)

All trackwork and support nodes must stay within the red lines. (Footers can go out a bit, but make sure the node in the centre doesn't go out.)

Track height should be above 105 feet (32 meters) at least once.

Length should be more than 3,280 feet (1,000 meters).

Track must be full circuit

Train style should be PTC-4seat.

Train length should be between 5 and 7 cars per train.

Must run at least two trains.

Only 1 lift allowed. Magnetic brakes also allowed. Not a single friction tyre or propelling magnet allowed.

Only 1 Station allowed

Other rules

Starting point may be moved.

Terraforming is allowed.

Failing E-stop and/or Tunneltesting will dramatically lower your tech score.

3ds, scenery and other additions are allowed, ans will raise your originality score with the maximum of 1 point out of 10.

G-forces:

(When getting over the limits, points in tech will be deduced)
Vertical +4.5 - -1.5
Lateral +2.0 - -2.0

Rating:

20 % Tech (G-forces, transitions, supports, tunneltest, e-stop, realism and banking)
30 % Adrenaline (Speed, flow, pacing, head coppers, stacking and near misses)
20 % Originality (Layout, 3ds, scenery, cartextures, realism and elements)
30 % Airtime (ejectors, floaters, amount and length of the airtime)

Deadline:

All track have to be uploaded to the exchange or mailed to hyyyper{at}hotmail.com at
6-15-2007 11:59:59 PM WWS-Time

If you upload your track to the exchange, it will be seen as the final version of your track. Don't forget to put [GGC] in the trackname.
If you mail the track you can send it in as many times as you like (before the deadline).
But please send me a pm with some information so that I can make sure it doesn't get into the spam folder.

I'm in, finals will take priority over this, but I'll still do it anyway, I'm sure I'll find time.

I'll sort of... "Half join." I might have to leave because of finals and because I tend to get unhappy with my tracks halfway through. Put an asterisk by my user name just to keep record that I might have to drop out.

I thought I'd forewarn.

Well, I like the BB template, as I have a cool layout in mind, BUT I'm having trouble making a 105' ride. I prefer something in the 80' range.
