You know something's wrong when the majority of the airtime a park advertises is before the lift
It's been a long time

Airtime, no matter where it is...is ALWAYS a welcome sight in "airtime starved" southern California.

I remember on Insane Coaster Wars, the park manager for SFMM was talking about Goliath and said that it gave up inversions and speed for airtime. I was like there is literally only like 2 airtime hills on the ride.

Also on that show, Six Flags coasters always beat out Cedar Fair rides and then I realized that Six Flags paid Travel Channel to let them win.

Yeah, I had that suspicion also. The crest seems huge in comparison to the size of the drop. So a fast lift is quite possible - like El Toro's lift speed.

^ But remember, El Toro's system is almost 10 years old, and chains have gotten a lot more powerful and fast, so it is possible I think for a fast chain.

Yeah I wouldn't get my hopes up on that lasting more than a season if it ends up existing in the first place

^ Lol, like the MF issues in the first season, which explains why it goes up slower now and then speeds up near the top after the hold has cleared.
