Well i got back from my trip to the U.A.E. about a week and a half ago and I finally decided to stop being lazy and update here. The trip was absolutely amazing, we spent four days in Abu Dhabi and eight days in Dubai. Being set up by a student group at U of M our trip had two focuses to it. oscar and i met up at knott's today to check out the new windseeker and see how other things were going in the park.
the good part, it was free!! because i'm a vet, and i get one guest free as well. and it wasnt crowded at all.
the bad IT STARTED RAINING LIKE CRAZY, just when there'd been a break in the rain long enough to crank up xcellerator
the ugly HORRID MUSIC BEING PLAYED THROUGH SPEAKERS THROUGH ouT THE PARK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i swear to god .. it's supposed to be an old wes ghos...(continued)

So, the day when you lay in bed and suddenly- I won. Tickets for thorpe park to be exact. However, the date to use them by was very quick- It being a cold month, i figured the queues could be short.
But it was a heatwave.
And they weren't.
So, we got to the park about a quarter of an hour after it opened, partly because dad didnt want to actually go, and partly because his sat-nav kept falling off the car window.

I went to hershey park last summer and ill tell you about my trip.
We get to the hotel, eat, swim, then go to the park. I go on fahrenheit first. the line is soooo long!!!! But it was worth it and the extra 7 degrees REALLY made a difference. I went on tidal force, got soaked inside out, went to the hotel and came back the next day. I was gonna ride sooperdooperlooper first, but they were using one train and the line was insane! In the summer, I travelled to Italy together with three other fellow roller coaster enthusiasts. The idea was hatched during the Troy marathon in September of 2010.
