After seeing Leviathan at Canada's Wonderland, I just wanted to make another B&M giga coaster. First I made this coaster normally, then I decided to make it a terrain coaster ! Max. speed : 151 kph / 94 mph Lenght : 2204.63 m / 7223 ft. Height : Was initially 95 m/311 ft, but with the terrain it's 108m/354ft. Rate and comment. Enjoy the ride !

T-Mostly pretty smooth, but with a few pumps, some of which produced G-spikes. Some points were lost because the last few turns before the brakes were noticeably more pumpy than the rest of the ride and produced G-spikes. Other than that, the forces were fine, altho a tad on the strong side for a B&M (4.6 G's and -1.5 G's, but for a split second. The laterals on some elements were uncomfortable). Some points were also lost for using a whole lot of prefab supports and not enough custom. The prefab V supports don't go out horizontally as much as real B&M hyper supports, which is why they shouldn't be used on tall elements, but they are fine to use on sections of track real close to the ground. Also, a ride this long should have a mid course brake run so the other train doesn't have to wait too long on the lift. The elements do mostly look B&M to me, even if there are shaping errors. A-You did reasonably well here. Couldn't find any pacing problems. Besides the G-inducing pumps, it didn't look too tame or too intense, like real B&M hypers/gigas. Despite its 7,000+ foot length, it didn't feel too long to me, which is a good thing, I suppose. O/Acc-I like the idea of a terrain B&M giga. The terraforming made the ride seem like a trip away from civilization. This is not too big a deal, but in some places the terrain looked kinda blocky. I'm not sure if anything can be done about this or if it's even a big deal at all, but it looks kinda weird to me how footers placed on steep slopes appear really tall. I don't think I'll take off for that. I think what would make this better is maybe more trees, and since the ground is so slopey, I think some kind of mountain/rocky texture would make more sense. Overall: I like the concept, but I think the technical aspects are in need of improvement, and once they're addressed, you can expect higher ratings. |
