A young boy runs into his parent's room screaming.
"What is it?" asks the mother
"I've just had a nighmare!" cries the boy
"What was it about?"
"I dreamed about a B&M hyper coaster that actually had decent pacing and intense forces!"
The mother began to laugh.
"Relax! Everyone knows that all B&M hypers have terrible pacing and even a newborn would scoff at the forces!"
Or do they? Welcome to Anomaly, the 230 foot, 75 MPH monster with awesome pacing and the world's first inversion on a B&M Hyper. Enjoy your ride!
Thanks for the rate! At least I know I'm improving from my god-awful rides I've made up to this point. Also, my sarcasm meter is in serious need of repair.
Thanks! The funny thing is, this was pretty much trial and error. You should see the previous versions I have of this. Ugh. I had the friction settings wrong so I pretty much just decreased the forces as the ride went along to compensate. By the time I realized the forces were getting weird I was nearly done and fixing the friction would mean re-doing the entire ride.
EDIT: Come on, 110 DLs and only 1 rate! You guys can do better!
I found this to be a really smooth and thought out ride. The hills were the perfect height and the train was just long enough where sitting in any seat was enjoyable.
\/ I go with awful too. Mostly because I put it in my "awful folder". It has nothing to do with the ride. So, yeah, this sucks.
Edit:
T: This was very smooth!. I noticed a few pumps that seem to come naturally with Newton like near the bottom of the first drop and a few others. I think you made the negative force zones too long. However, as the ride goes on, the ride gets smoother and smoother. It passes the E-stop test and it passes tunnel test (pretty sure). The supports were the biggest down fall to this ride. It doesn't work well when you have one track node and two fundament nodes and connect them. They could have been a lot more complex. That being said, they would hold up the track pretty well. I also didn't like the shaping of the drop. It is not that is is not the "B&M Style". It is just unrealistic. Good job for the most part.
A: This is where you excelled. I loved the way you flew through those elements with great air! It was great from beginning to end, which can't be said about most rides I have seen so far in the contest. Most of them were decent and some really poor. I think that this is why you came in 3rd. Great Job!
O: Now, I can't say much about this. I will say that it had original elements but it doesn't have a lot to it. For that reason I feel that a 7.5 is a fitting rating considering the energy of it.
So, as you can see, this is definitely awful! Please stop posting such terrible rides [;)]
Sorry I made this such a short rating. I normally expect more from myself but I don't have the patience or the time to rate fully.
Thanks for the awful creation,
devilsrule911
For the record, the awful part was sarcasm as you seem to be having trouble with finding that out lately [;)]
Edit#2: By the way, I forgot to mention I liked the addition of the inversion.
