This coaster was mainly inspired by Flying Aces at Ferrari Land, except with a launch instead of a lift. The launch track was my first attempt at making a detailed 3d model of something, so I'm very happy with how it ended up turning out.
The ride features a fully working Hydraulic launch.
Similarly to Flying Aces, this coaster was originally meant to be a wng coaster, but I wasn't able to get custom trains to allow me to do this. This is why some of the transitions on the ride are a little bit more drawn out compared to when Intamin would usually do.
I rated a lot of these categories pretty high based solely on the basis that this ride looks, feels, and rides just like a true Intamin design would. Everything about it offers that somewhat wild and out of control feeling while still maintaining a very sturdy foot in solid Intamin ride elements.
Technique-wise, the ride is very solid. I love the pacing and how easily the elements flow together. Adrenaline is high from the start and while it does seem to slow down by the end of the layout, that still does not make you forget everything that you have already experienced. It is definitely unique and realistic too!
Overall, I think Allegro is a very solid attraction from a very solid and well-liked designer. I always look forward to your work, and this one does not disappoint.
A really good coaster! Nice layout and supports! Good job! (the only thing that drags the realism down a bit is the length of the track, but i like it as it is)
The ride was very smooth and the G's were well controlled. I do hate it when people make Intamin's that almost kill people, so I'm glad you strayed away from that. The supports were excellent as well and I have no complaints about them. The only complaint I have about this ride is that it felt a bit longer than it needed to be, and that it focused a bit too much on those stengal dive/overbank things. The layout was pretty good overall, I just feel like it lasted a tad bit long. Some more snap in the first corkscrew would have helped too but I'm really digging to nitpick here. I saw alot of Flying Aces and Intimidator influence in this and I think you pulled it off well.
The scenery was very well put together (loved the animated launch) and the whole feel of the ride was quite nice. It felt like it could fit well in King's Island. As usual I don't have much to say, but it really did feel like it could have ended sooner than it did and that it was dragging on a bit.
