Like an arrow from a bow you will shoot through this wooden roller coaster. Hear the wood groan and the chains screech. Even though it has no loops or corkscrews, it doesn't get much crazier than this!
Robin Hood is a wooden rollercoaster made by Vekoma. It's located in Walibi Holland. The ride opened in 2000 when the park was Six Flags Holland. Together with Superman the Ride (Xpress PF13), La Via Volta (Speed Of Sound) and Flying Dutchman Goldmine (removed in 2010), this was one of the four new coasters that year. Robin Hood will close in 2018 for an RMC conversion, so if you want to ride Robin Hood but can not go to Walibi in 2018, ride it virtual!
It has been quite a while since I rode this but it seems pretty accurate
- Trackwork Accuracy: It was pretty accurate, my only complaint is that there's a huge pump in the second bend all the way in the back.
- Pacing accuracy: I compared it to an on ride and it pretty much the same
- Attention to detail: There wasn't much added detail besides the station building and transfer track shed.
- Scenery Accuracy: The details made with wooden supports were nice but I could recommend learning a bit of 3d modeling. It would enhance your work a lot!
- Degree of Difficulty: Overall it's not a very difficult ride to recreate but you did a good job on it.
