An urgent situation has arisen which has put the world in peril! Shadow the Hedgehog, distraught over the loss of Maria, has snapped. He has stolen the master emerald from its shrine and has used chaos control to bring back the Space Colony Ark, Seal Sonic away, and re-initiate Gerald Robotnik's doomsday plan.
We need your help to save the world! G.U.N. has teamed up with Dr. Ivo Robotnik to gather the seven chaos emeralds, develop a high speed launch vehicle, and harness the power of chaos control to reverse Shadow's planned cataclysm in what is being called Operation FinalHazard. We need as many fighters as we can get to pilot these launch vehicles from Launch Base Zone, bring the emeralds together, and use chaos control to stop Shadow in his tracks, bring back Sonic, and save the world!
