hmmm, fair enough, but it's on it's way, unlike the stuff such as nemesis etc, that was alright theming but it wasn't amazing.

you call digging out a crater from rock not amaxing themeing. shame on you nemesis theme is amazing this and every day of the week. AIR has poor themeing and still needs finishing. oblivions themeing ive always thought was good but now needs updating. best themeing has to be charlie and the chocolate themeing, the thing looks like a real factory.

im being really hyper today to excited now, need to calm down.

The entire thrill is probably the drop track section.

Did you just read my post and then think, yes, that's correct, I shall simply write the exact same thing in slightly different words and claim it as my opinion? Bitch. [lol]

That was a result of the "too long didn't read" philosophy in action. A very American way of thinking BTW.

Watch it, you're fat and can't spell like most Americans.

So, I'm back from Alton Towers and my opinion is:

Corkscrew was better.

Basically it is pretty wank. The theming is good, but that is where the good points end. The first drop is oddly disappointing because of its shaping, the helix has OK forces, but it seems under powered. The air hills have almost floater air, but not quite. The ride is very smooth, but this only serves to add to its mediocrity, if it was rough at least it would be funny. The drop track is good, but no where near as good as I was hoping it would be (word of warning, don't put your hands up, at the bottom of the drop track you smash your elbow off the un padded side of the car, yeah ouch). The backwards launch is tame, but gives a nice little pop of air into the dip into the backwards helix. The backwards helix is MASSIVLEY under powered, but it has "undulating" banking, which is slightly amusing I guess. Then the final part is the little mini launch back into the station which is probably the most entertaining part of the ride.

All in all, this ride is not as good as the ride it replaced.

However, it is now obvious why they used tyre lifts... the ride is for all intents and purposes almost absolutely silent. The tyre lifts work really well, they make absolutely no noise at all, even though the weather was quite greasy.

There was one amusing part, there is a RIDICULOUS heartlining FAIL on the entry to the second lift, it made me lol.

Well I am glad we have determined that the pessimist predictions were correct. Now which one of you is going to upload it to the failblog?

seriously WTF, it is nowhere near as good as either of these rides.

[lol] I was about to say about being able to see the heartlining fail in the pov. Looking back at how ridiculous it is now, it just HAS to be intentional, I mean, just look at it! That didn't happen by accident.
