I can almost guarantee it will. With a ride that massive and at a park like CP, that thing has to be a people eater. The only RMCs to break 1000pph are Texas Giant and TCol, both of which have MCBRs.

Is it me or does it seem like CP contracted RMC to stick with the origional full layout? Funny when I was there in July I had a feeling that it was going to be converted so I marathoned it as much as possible, only to find out a few months later it was happening. I'm super hyped, first RMC.

^ I have a feeling that a lot of the lower end of the original won't exist anymore. If you look at the early photos it looks like they closed off a lot of the structure where track used to be.
What are these for?

I wouldn't be too surprised. Leaves less room for meandering. I love these massive elements. I wonder if RMC made an improvement on their polyurethane wheeles to deal less friction.

Everything before the mid course brake run is still the same, ledgers are already in place.
All hail your great Arrow Dynamics overlords.

Progress on the wave turn. Looks like it will dive under the lift after all.

Forgot to tell the park map designers he needed to invent a meme for that area.

were people really calling that a second inversion? Was it just hopeful wishes or ignorance to the way track is shaped?

Nah the best photo at the time looked very similar to a double inversion RMC used on a prototype video they released a little while ago. It was an optical illusion and the quality of the photo was low enough that it was very hard to distinguish what was actually happening.

idk it seemed clear to me what would happen after the first roll even with the first blurry pic.

It's banking pretty hard after that. Hard for me to tell how much they've added to the structure in that spot.

I've had a theory for some time now that maybe the ride will NOT follow the same layout as before, that the 2nd & 3rd hills will be reversed. This photo gave me another clue. I saved the photo and then enlarged to to see better. That small airtime hill that is thought to follow 1st drop, does not line up with the structure of lift hill. Also, as the park is being secretive and not having the lift completed yet, tells me we are in for a surprise.

I do not think it would be a reasonable choice to do that roll downwards, into an overbank, and then into a notably taller airhill. The double-up-roll makes more sense layout-wise, in my opinion.

I do kinda see what you mean about the alignment of the track though. Maybe the lift hill will start the ride doing something on the inside of those two big elements, and then come back around for a flat launch into the tiny airhill and two big elements. I could see how they would want to hide the launch section right there buried underneath the lift structure so it's not noticeable to the average rider.

Or maybe -- reaching here... - the lift is actually a launch into a leftward rolling zero g + drop, Hulk style, and ends up in alignment with the tiny airhill after that.

The speed hill lines up with the first drop. Trust me. I've looked at countless pictures and Google's 3D view of Mean Streak. It lines up.
