a small example of komplex animations, done in 3Ds max.

Its not very different to every other animation:

But now its possible, to use those keyframe animations in NL2:

Sometimes you have to use "baked animation". This method converts every single frame to an keyframe and fixes most of the problems, caused by constraints.
It seems only to work with DAE-files.

to make use of this new feature, you have to simply click on the checkbox in the SCO-creation dialog.
(where you assing the path to your models).

Walking people in your park shouldn't be a problem anymore.

Those are fully rigged 3d humans. You just need to animate and export them to the .DAE file format

Honestly being able to have animated people in NL2 has huge. I feel that more parks would start to use NL2 in their animations because the people would make the animation quality better, and it would in general look more professional

Are you sure she isn't going to eat up all the FPS? Looks like a pretty dense model.

She is a dae file. I now have a dark skinned 100% naked female stripper with huge boobs and male gentiles to test in the Hall Of Poles.

This will be in jamp up land inside of the hall of poles building. It will not be visible when you are walking around jamp up land. You have to go inside of the building to see the strippers.

^It's pretty good. The exporting I can't figure out, I want to import it to Blender, use rigging to put a person in a sitting position then export to put some people on my coasters (once I get NL2 again)

Thank you all for this funny conversation. It was pretty fast how it turns from a awesome motion-plattform into a .. "adult-only-club-talk" xD
All i can say is: get the download and look how perfect it works. The FPS are great!

Maybe another tip:
Of course, people in game would be nice but i recommand to begin with something small. To understand how this kind of stuff works is the #1 to know!
Complex animations (like humen in games) aren´t done by only ONE person, if we could have small groups which are working on different kind of stuff... imagine how fast and easy it would be.

To feed a talented user by requests.. is one way, but to get the hang of it in a mass effect is the other!
