Except they are the same thing?

Height wise, yes they are different. Layout wise, probably not.

I wonder where it'll be going. Isn't it a strange time of year to be making new track? Maybe it'll be shipped overseas.

Really, when you think about it, Clermont produces steel for 3 coasters every year. That is a lot of track and supports to make! I imagine they have coaster stuff coming out of there all year long.

Of all the photos I've seen of the place, not many have had more than one set of colored track. I would assume they make one at a time. As soon as one is finished, they start the next project.

^^I recall reading somewhere that the Clermont facility supplies B&M track for the North America & Asia markets, and there is a facility in Europe that supplies their market.

Looking at RCDB, there are total of 7 B&M's slated for 2016. Two in U.S. and five in Asia (with one of those a relocated). That is a LOT of fabrication to come from one plant. I would be interested in seeing the breakdown of the orders for this year. I would love to tour the plant. Not just from a coaster enthusiast perspective. But, I've done factory work for the past 20 years and love to see how things are produced.

I love the track color! I can't wait to see what the supports look like.

I bet that the support color will be blue or black! Not an image of any Chinese air pollution stuff at least. :)

its the first inverted hyper mega coaster for Valleyfair!

honestly though I'm sure we are getting a coaster next year, those colors don't seem like they would fit well. Valleyfair has a green coaster and yellow coaster already.

Ziz is more likely to happen than a new coaster for Valleyfair. #RelocatedSLC

Don't get too excited, I've been hearing that next year's addition will not be a new coaster (yet again) :|. Most likely going to be another waterpark expansion.

Btw there are actually 4 separate coasters. The gold, like green, the blueish gray and the orange. It's a pretty safe bet that a cf park will get one b&m this year. It could be the green or orange, but if a two colored track shows up id bet on that one. CF loves to use those color schemes and are the only ones to do it so far.

The green track at the Clermont Plant has "X-Works" as the customer, means it's going to a Cedar Fair park. Let the speculation begin.

It is wing rider track so it could be for any of the CF parks basically (except CP and Carowinds). Kings Island could be getting a front gate winger because of the improvements they've been making to the front entrance like redoing the parking lot, entrance road, toll plaza, and kings island sign. And this color would fit and blend in really well with the color scheme of that park.

I hope it's for Valleyfair too but that is less likely IMO because Wild Thing's turnaround is at the front and this color would like basically match it.

I would have immediately said Kings Island, but there is too much evidence for a GCI. That said, they could be toying with everyone, but I somewhat doubt it. I guess we'll find out tonight.

Excluding Kings Island, I really only see two other parks as likely candidates: Canada's Wonderland and Kings Dominion. I'm thinking the latter is more likely as they're the only big Cedar Fair park that hasn't added a coaster in the past five years, Canada's Wonderland already has a big front gate coaster, and, assuming it is a wing coaster, I've got a feeling it will be more unique in Kings Dominion's market than Canada's Wonderland's.
Coaster Count: 535 (114 wood, 444 steel); Park Count: 110
Top 5 Wood: El Toro, Voyage, Thunderhead, Outlaw Run, Boulder Dash
Top 5 Steel: Superman the Ride, Fury 325, Millennium Force, X2, Intimidator 305

I was also thinking that the KI GCI thing could be a foil. But who knows. We will know by tonight.

CF is considering Levi as CW's front gate coaster even though it's kinda off to the side, so I doubt it's CW.

KD is a good thought, I didn't think of them because I just had assumed in my head that the park that contains I-305 doesn't need to add any more roller coasters. But I recall theories flying around a few months ago about KD getting a winger in '16 so maybe this is it. Color and coaster footprint and all of that would work really well for KD too. Easily cut off that section of parking lot in front of Dominator and change the borderline of the park with half of the winger in that area.

I actually do think it could be for CW, but then again Ziz is rumored for either 2017 or 2018.

Those tires have me think that coaster may be a launched type. ;)

Lately it seems like almost all B&M does lately is hypers/gigas, dive machines, and wing riders. Neither a good nor a bad thing, just an observation.

It's all parks are ordering. They'd build a standup tomorrow if a park ordered it.
