What do you drive?
Lets see a picture and maybe some basic information about your car.

Mines a 2002 1.6 litre 16v vauxhall astra sxi with 110bhp (when new). Good little run around, 0-60 in about 9 seconds, 120mph top end and it gets about 28 miles to the gallon, which is pretty shxt when petrol is up to ?????????1.40 a litre haha! Changing soon due to more no claims bonus and cheaper insurance on cars with more power.

Not my picture, but here is the model and color I have...it sucks...

http://images.dealerrevs.com/gallery/ph ... d=12484983

14mpg on Amoco Ultimate, no A/C (and only the two rear windows roll down), and horrid size/turning circle. But hey, it's free from my grandparents, so you can't blame my parents for picking up on that. Also, given the fact that my brother had this car for 2 years and then got a newer car after that, I'm sure I'll be doing the same here within the next year or so (at least I hope).

Nobody love cares that you use public transit and purple trains to get around Freddie. It does not make you special, unique or enlightened in any way whatsoever. You always do this in any thread about cars. You don't see me posting pictures of my legs and/or bicycle and acting like I'm hot poop for walking and using a bike.

train =/= car

Deal with it.

And I don't love care that people use cars to get around. The lack of caring goes both ways. I know I'll be told I could just not post, but if other people are posting their stupid money pits that don't make them unique or enlightened in any way, why can't I post mine?

Name of thread: "Post your car"

1. You posted a train.
2. Car =/= train.
3. It's also not YOUR train, it's a train you use.

Did you read Matt's post? I was reusing his words. I don't think I'm better than anyone by using trains at all, but I don't see the point in people boasting about their cars/cars specs/what their cars can do either. I don't care how you get around nor should you care how I get around.....my post was meaningless and the entire thread even more meaningless.

Way to edit your post tool.

^^^I actually edited it before you posted, so ya, I see your use of words.

Still, you can't get over the fact that you're the definition of hipster. LOL

Although, you say this thread is pointless. However, we talk about makes and models for roller coasters. Hippocrate much?

Dude, you can still be hipster and not do any of those things. It's the vibe that you send with being different and trend-setting. Not that you are wanting us to all ride trains, but you want us to think it's cool. At least based on the way that I'm reading the text haha.

Not all people that use Droids are hipsters, but the ones that showcase it like it's God's Gift and talk about how the iPhone is so mainstream... yep.

You're missing the point. It's not that I want you to think I'm cool and different by riding trains, its that you want ME (the reader) to think YOU'RE (the poster) cool by having a V16 that goes 0-60 in 9 seconds or whatever, when I (personally) couldn't care less, just like you don't care about my riding trains. Yes I think cars are a waste of time and money, but you aren't going to hear about that from me until it's brought up. It's a topic for discussion of a subject so I am discussing my distaste for the subject. Feel free to go in my topics and poop on photography and speakers or whatever if you feel the same distaste, that's fine by me.

Why don't you let people that are interested in cars talk about cars then?

Same reason that if anyone is talking about something that isn't to your liking in the chat, you just repeatedly say 'derp' (you're what, like 25?) until the discussion changes, or anyone discussing any career path is switched to how inferior said career path is to geology. You do the same poop and you know it.

2009 Honda Fit base, 117hp, FWD, no torque, no acceleration, dont ask about the displacement or 0-60. Still I dont care, the car is great fun, and I love it.

yes this really is the biggest picture I have, took it on my phone

You're an idiot freddie. Apparently you're not smart enough to know that a train is not a car. The subject of the topic is "post your car" not "post your method of transportation". Now go back to CVS and help the chick in aisle 5 get her tampons.

cars ARE a waste of time and money if you are being supported and boarded by someone else, in close proximity to a train that takes you to your job you dont really need to have. however, for those of us who live 16 miles from work without any proper public transportation to get us to the place that we MUST go to every day for 10 hours or we will starve/become homeless, etc, cars are kind of a super extra big deal. then theres that thing where if i want to , say , go somewhere iother than home after work , i can swithc roads, which is way more convinient than the train..
that said .. i'd love to not have to drive a car everyday , and if the train stopped near my house and near my work i would take it every day .
