Really glad we have you to check twitter often. I deleted it because all of every park's advertisement BS drove me up the effing wall.

I wonder if they deleted it because they saw that the green winger track pictures were leaked right about the time they posted it lol.

They're replacing Wild Thing's trains with SLC trains, so you board and ride it upside-down.
Boulder Dash was the only good roller coaster.

Valleyfair has announced that Enterprise will be closing on Sunday, August 21.
After 38 years, Valleyfair will say goodbye to one of its earliest rides. Enterprise will give its final ride to park guests on Sunday, August 21, 2016 before being retired to make room for future growth of Valleyfair.

More than 15 and a half million riders have strapped into Enterprise since its installation at Valleyfair in 1979.

???While it???s bittersweet to say goodbye to one of our park???s oldest rides, we???re excited for what the future holds,??? says Dave Frazier, Vice President and General Manager of Valleyfair. ???The park has evolved so much over the past 40 years and as Valleyfair continues to grow, we???re committed to enhancing the overall experience for our guests. We???re happy that Enterprise was able to provide close to four decades of memories.???

Guests can take their last rides on Enterprise before the ride is ceremoniously retired on Sunday, August 21 at 10 p.m.

Plans for 2017 growth at Valleyfair will be officially announced in mid-August.

I am saddened by this news, for Enterprise is my favorite flat ride ever. I did like a tweet from VF today that said they are removing enterprise "as we prepare for new heights in 2017!" could this be the VF gatekeeper some dream of?

One of my co-workers said that a Windseeker (possibly relocated) is rumored to be taking Enterprise's place, but I'm personally hoping for a Gerstlauer Sky Roller.

You already have the Sky Fly at Mall of America though, and that one is probably better than any Sky Roller you would get

Where would they relocate the Windseeker from? All the other CF parks have theirs in operation right now.

The rumor seems to be it'll be the one from Carowinds, but I kind of doubt that.

I also heard it might be the one from Carowinds, but still taking it with a grain of salt.

I don't see why they'd relocate it. Yeah they have some issues occasionally, but they're really not a good ride. I get that they're a mild ride and all, but they don't go fast to be intense, and they're too fast to really see anything great.

First of all I doubt they would relocate any windseekers, they are all fairly new. Also, I don't see how they can put in a 301 foot Windseeker with a park height cap of 300 feet. I am also pretty sure its not a coaster because they tweeted that their coaster plans were denied by the city due to the height cap, but then they deleted that post. I'm hoping for a Frisbee, or maybe they will bring back the Chaos.

Whatever they get I hope that the enterprise gets sent to Kings dominion so that they will once again have an one in their collection.

Valleyfair has a height limit set at 300 feet by the FAA because of a nearby airport. The Mondial ones are all 301 feet, more than the limit. They could maybe get it modified but that would also maybe cost more.

here is what it would look like at 280 feet :)
