SeaWorld Orlando has just announced a new rapids ride named 'Infinity Falls" for the 2018 season. The ride will feature a unique vertical lift and the world's largest drop on a raft ride! This will be going in the back of the park in the Sea Gardens section which will be rethemed for this ride.



Rush the rapids on SeaWorld???s all-new river ride Infinity Falls coming Summer 2018.

Climb aboard your raft for a journey of discovery down this lost jungle river. Wind your way around soaking fountains and waterfalls as you pass the remains of an ancient civilization. Hang on as the roaring world class rapids send you flying through chutes before you plunge down the tallest drop of its kind into churning whitewater. Your adventure ends at Harmony Village with a greater connection to the world???s rivers, inspired to spread the message of conservation.

Story Not long ago, a drone sent to explore the jungles of South America discovered previously uncharted structures in a remote area along the banks of a freshwater river. A group of explorers and scientists were sent to investigate the discovery. Upon arrival they set up base camp near an abandoned structure. They studied and explored the river, falling in love with its power and the nature living along its banks. Inspired by the river, they developed a sustainable camp for others to visit and explore so they too, could learn more about the jungle and how their connection to the waters of the world.

They probably mean unique to the US. Also, River Quest isn't the only rapids with an elevator!

Probably unique from the manufacturer. I can't think of an Intamin that has a vertical lift. :V

I'm always fond of a good rapids ride though. The video promises something interesting. :)

I don't like this. it's a river rapids ride. Since when do rivers invest in elevators? lol

I think it would be a lot cooler though if they really used a lock mechanism to bring the boats op to the right height.

Intamin has made tons of rapids rides already. This won't be a water coaster.

Chiapas at Phantasialand is also made by Intamin, they have had some problems but everything seem to be running pretty good now.

Possibly, perhaps double up as life jackets/boucancy aid to throw to an overboard rider.
