"Put me on the Map"

Small Park Wood Challenge

A small, yet exciting park has began construction on the land it has purchased from the state and it's plans include for a thrilling wooden roller coaster. It's up to you, the designer, to design a twisted ride experience that will bring in visitors for years to come. The companies the park has asked to propose are Custom Coasters International (CCI), The Gravity Group (GG), S&S Power, and Great Coasters International (GCI). It's up to you to decide what company you would like to represent!

THE RULES- Please read carefully

Template:

-Blue lines represent the land the park has purchased. However, the state has permitted the use of the two lakes adjacent to the park for amusement attractions only.
-The pink lines represent the layout for the paths and parking lot to be constructed. If your coaster crosses over the path, it MUST clear by no less than 10 feet, and no support fundaments may touch the path.
-The red lines represent other rides that are planned to be built around the park. You may not cross over the areas designated for these rides.
-Station must be contained within the red box marked with an X.

Important- Interaction with paths and other rides WILL ADD to the adrenaline and possibly originality scores depending on how the interaction is accomplished.

The ride:

-The state prevents the coaster from being taller than 110 feet tall.
-The max length for your coaster is 3500 feet. There is no minimum.
-Your ride must utilize exactly 2 coaster trains. PTC's may have from 4 to 6 cars, and Millennium Flyer's may have from 8 to 12 cars.
-The max g-forces are 3.8/-1.2 positive (REALISTIC) and -/+ 1.6 lateral.-The ride must not be banked over 90* at ANY point. This means no inversions are permited (as they bank > 90).
-Only one lift hill allowed, and it may not be faster than 10 m.p.h.
-E-stop will be tested normally and tunnel testing will be of the Judge's discretion. Use your eyes people!
-Rides must be posted by Sunday, November 18th, no later than 11:59:59 P.M. SITE TIME
-Email as many times to jakeg797@aol.com, or post to the exchange, Once posted to the exchange, the ride is considered the final version. NO exceptions. Please post in the topic when your ride is posted and add a (PMM) tag on your ride once uploaded.

Most of all, have fun and good luck!

Questions and Answers:

Q: Can the track go under the path?

A: If you can find room to fit an underground tunnel, then go for it. Please change no terrain other than lowering the ground in the location of your tunnel.

Q: It says that the clearance above a pink-bordered area must be at least 15 ft. Is that track clearance or support clearance?

A: Nothing may be less than 10 feet over the paths. Please all, take notice that the heigh has been changed from 15 to 10 feet.

Q: Is terraforming allowed?

A: Since the coaster is being built on already existing land, no major changes to the terrain will be allowed. You may lower it slightly for trenches or tunnels, however.

Q: Can we use 3 cars per train for a realistic S&S ride?

A: I'm going to stick to the rules this time. The influencial S&S for this contest is J2, which uses 4 cars/train, which is still extremely fast paced with 1.6 pacing.
