yep after a couple of years saving for one i finallyu got myself a samsung GX1S digital SCL camera and yeah its fantastic. i ordered the weekend and got it yesterday and so i decided to go to alton towers for a bit to test it out. im not posting this in the trip report forum as this isnt a report, its just to show off the quility you can expect from my pictures from now on.
its only got a 1GB memory card in it ATM so it will only take 350 photos, i filled that in 4 hours today so i guess i need a bigger one lol. anyway heres some of the awsome photos and the qulity is fantastic.

Nice Pictures. Very clear. Umm... I would just go with photoshop, it's a very nice program and it does practically everything you'd want it to do.
Just keep scrolling...

Nice photo's Gary. Some close up's look really nice. Also it looks like you had some great weather at Alton Towers. [:)]

What are the stats from your new camera?
Coastercount: 1410 (I've seen the world and it's horrid contraptions... @.@)
- Wood: 142
- Steel: 1268

SLR's rule (not sure what the acronym for SCR is...) rule, dont they?

BTW, yours is a discountinued Pentax - if you wonder about attachments and stuff. Interesting camera choice but should be good. Pentax was a good name.

Adobe Photoshop, definitely. But if that's out of your price range, go for GIMP. It's free, and it's what I use.

Adobe Lightroom is the best Pure Photo Editor...ever. It was designed by some of the worlds leading photographers to be everything youd need from photoshop, but without the other stuff. Plus they added a bunch of new and cooler stuff. Even the way the history works is worlds better than PS.

Plus, if you buy it, half or less the price of Photoshop.

yeah i know its not a new one but it was alot less than i was going to pay and as its my first high qulity camera i wanted something to get into it, if i start getting into my photography alot i will get a better one.
it works very well though but i just got to get used to the settings and how to use them to full effect.

You should go to the park at night and do some light-graffiti over the rides! Ive never seen it done before and i think it would look pretty cool!
