I'm going to have to vote Intamin. But, you will need to put more than one splashes on it for it to be the ultimate.

They have no proper laterals... Which should be a part of the ultimate wooden coaster [;)]

I've ridden Millenium Force, it's really not that great. the first drop is about it, then it's just a bunch of turns with hills that you only feel air on if you are in the very front or back. El Toro... is AWESOME!

Kings Island could use an Intamin Mega-Lite like Maverick or prefabricated woodie like El Toro, but not a Giga. Or a GCI Woodie would be nice too, maybe with Timberliners!

Wait. I'm confused. Who built El Toro? Both sites claim to have built it...

There are 2 coasters named El Toro. One is a GCI in Germany, the other is an Intamin woody at SFGA.
I would imagine that people are talking about the latter for this thread.

In any case, both have merits, but I would have to say there is no such thing as an ultimate coaster.

Even within the Intamin Hyper category, there are rockets, gigas, loopers, and strata-coasters. Even the ultimate Intamin would have to be absurdly large, akin to Mach 3 or my Excelsior.

You also have to consider things like "the ultimate inverted coaster" or "the ultimate spinner".

Well, since this is about NL (in that forum), why not have a fully-decked out Mine Ride, with Eurofighters? In fact, I already have the trackwork done. Just 3ds and supports needed.
