It's Official, Zadra will open on August 22nd.

Zadra is the biggest WOODEN ROLLER COASTER in the world. The latest pride and joy of the Energylandia Park, and yet another record setter. Unbelievable thrills, multiplied by the wooden construction of this attraction. This is an investment completed in co-operation with Rocky Mountain Constructions, which specializes in designing and building wooden roller-coasters for the top theme parks all over the world!
Here are the impressive parameters of Zadra:
- 61 m height
- 90 degree incline at drop
- 3 inversions
- max. speed 121 km/h
- ride duration ??? 1 minute 50 sec.

...and here is the POV:

....wow.

There's something I really love about this. It had me from the moment it went through that unbanked turn immediately after the drop.

Also the background/surroundings looks sufficiently enough like England that I can imagine it's in England

Pretty f ing impeccable dude. Just wow! That first ejector hop after the drop, with the laterals and the straight run through the supports, just amazing. The turnaround, all of the inversions, especially the second one, are amazing!

Someone should let them know that they've just built a steel hybrid coaster and not a wooden one. Doesn't quite look like a Steel Vengeance beater because it lacks that incredible second half surrounded by support structure, but what's here is awesome.

Wow. Another awesome looking coaster.

I keep thinking about planning a trip, but I know whenever I do go, they'll announce something even more awesome to be opened just after I go, and then another thing, and then another thing. So I keep putting it off

It's almost like visiting Florida. You can't just visit because every year there is something awesome and new announced. xD

Jora Vision announced at the IAAPA Euro Expo that they are doing the theming for the new coaster and the surrounding area:

Now the name Aqualantis has been shown here. However, whether this is for the Vekoma Shockwave+ or the new area in general is another matter.

Been at the park last weekend. Spotted the track. Lots of groundwork is already going on, even some of the trenches were showing. Feels like this is going to be a lot bigger ride than it looks.

Jesus seriously. After this, they'll have one less roller coaster than Cedar Point lol.

 This park is insane. I could totally see them going for the coaster capital title.

Oh they're going to reach that. After this, the minetrain and the tilt coaster there will be some other coaster type to be added for sure, maybe a GCI or a Gravity Group woodie?

But let's not forget that this park has a lot of kiddie/family coasters, where CP and SFMM have a lot more thrill coasters

Just a reminder that the Shockwave+ isn't the only thing the park is getting in 2020:

So far all their expansions have been several coasters at the same time. I wouldn't be surprised if the same will happen with this expansion.

I do hope to see some more flatrides though!

Some new pieces of concept art of Aqualantis were revealed at the parks end of year press conference:

The park have also released a few new details about the new area and the new coaster:

Aqualantis is in fact the name of the new area, the coaster will be called Abyssus.
There will be a few other attractions including a slow boat ride and a Disk'o Coaster, for which concept art for that can be seen here:

Image

The area will also consist of a restaurant and a water jump show know as Aquajump.

No news was revealed about the mine train, but that is for 2020 as well.

Is this RCT or a real life park? I can't tell any more.

This is incredible.

On Google Maps, going to Street View, most of which is from August 2013 currently... there's absolutely nothing there. It's just fields. Every single thing in this park has been constructed in the time since Thorpe Park last built a roller coaster.

This is RCT in real life.

Literally, they're still building rollercoasters and rides like crazy and with Vekoma announcing today that the Tilt Coaster 2.0 is coming... says enough. Definitely not done for the years to come

Yes, EU funding and the owners also own a lot of disco clubs

I am seeing a lot of people talking about a B&M Giga for Energylandia lately, I'm really curious if that is true or just a rumor.
