Chris Sawyer is NOT developing the game, although he is acting as a consultant for Frontier Developments.
Frontier Developments were responsible for the two expansion packs for RCT2, and will be producing RCT3.
so if you hated the expansions (i think they're ok) you might not like rct3...

guests can ride a coaster with 3 or one, just edit the frames then delete the part about guests siting in pars, then useing buggy's editor, and mabe Evil-Jester's hex codes re-assemble the rides, and the edited bitmaps, and it will work, it is quite fun (exept editing the 16,000-20,000 frames), thats for rct2, for rct3, it will be harder, you'll need to hack into the game's hard-coded stuff, then change sevral lines of coding, then change the car thingy useing JAMAGIC ($400) to canvert the 3-d version to a 2-d version, change about 1,000,000 frames. or you could wait to see if someone gets the HEX codes for it. if someone does, it will probly be Oblivion, or Evil_Jester.

I don't think this ride will be at all like Sim theme park. Yea, the 3d mode doesn't look all that great, but the building mode will still be mostly the same. Just with cool new options.

Hey, I never thought about that. That will be so cool just to see a coaster launched at like 200+ mph and fly off the track.[devilish]

I don't know if anyone has seen this. But this is a very informative article that might help give more insight as to the direction their trying to take this game. There are also some screen shots I've never seen. I for one and now vey excited. I think they are actually thinking this one through. GRIM - I really doubt they would include crashes. To much work now that it's going to be complete 3D. Just a look at one of the screen shots of this game and it's clearly more detailed than that piece of crap SIM Theme Park. That was such a horrible attempt at something that could've been great. I think they're really going to release an awesome game here. Just the variety of the peeps is exciting enouph. Having to cater to kids as well as adults and even seniors? Crazy. That would add some interesting scenerios. Oh well here is the link to the article.
