I'd say it's more likely to smooth out bumps with fewer segments, when they get to less than about 2m long it keeps virtually any flaw, no matter how small.

Yea, that is what I forgot to say.

And once you get better and better and your tracks are very good techincally before going into the AHG, then you can benefit from the AWESOME smoothness of segments around the 2m (6ft) mark. Otherwise, Id say to stick with like 15ft segments unless you HAVE to have that acccuracy.

Me, I have too. lol.

Ok so ive been trying to work AHG, and ive mostly figured it out. but i have a few more questions.

1. Will the AHG successfully heartline anything thrown into it? And if not what wont work if you try to use it with AHG.

2. Is there any sort of turns/inversions/etc. that you avoid using because it doesnt work with AHG?

3. I dont suppose I could get a crash course in designing AHG-friendly tracks could I?

Well, in general, if it gets through the course with any sort of speed, the AHG will work. The one element you want to avoid with the AHG is the vertical tophat. It just doesn't work out. If you want a top hat, you have to make it like 89.5 degrees instead of 90.

A crash course in designing AHG friendly rides, hmm... I would say, just make as smooth as possible and making sure that loops pull -vertical Gs in the top when un banked.

I should probably continue work on that AHG tutorial...
