Hey guys! I haven't tried building a coaster in what seems like forever, and I've finally got a new project going. While the name isn't entirely set in stone, Apollyon (chief demon of the abyss in the Bible) is my own take on the B&M Mini-Hyper. This thread is really my way of devoting myself to the project.

Stats:
Height- 135ft
Length (to date)- 2,120ft
Speed- ~56mph

Progress:
Trackwork- 60-70%
Supports- 0%
3ds (Might hire TheArchitect)- 0%

I completely hate building coasters with third-party programs. Therefore, I have chosen to hand-build this ride. It may not be as smooth as other coasters built with programs, but I'm willing to lose a couple points on ratings for a lot more fun building.

So, what do you guys think?

Not using tools to build your ride isn't an excuse for it to not be smooth. There are tons of smooth as glass hand-built rides out there.

^Well, he's not using it as a crutch or complaining.

Certainly looks unique...not sure how good it really is though.

Work on that banking, lol.

I'll come back on tweak most of the ride after the layout is finished. Right now I'm just concentrating on fitting all of my ride into the smallest plausible space [lol]

It looks like you have a ton of cool ideas in there, but it doesn't look like anything overly exciting is happening.

Gee, thanks for being positive [xx(] Anyway, I've been working on the track following the MCBR, and it's really coming together well. Right now, I have about 2,300 feet of track and lots of banking to tweak. From the pictures I've given you, there is still one little surprise I've yet to show you that will be kept a secret until the very end [8D]

Edit: On an unrelated note, this is my 350th post!
