Park Pack walkways don't match up with the concrete entrance to the ride. They are 5 inches higher, looks kind of lame. Anyway to fix this Austin?

I don't have 3ds capabilities, so that's out the window.

I'm not sure if I know what you mean. Your station isn't level with the walkways? It shouldn't be really... And I'm not sure how you would go about what you're talking about, use a wooden support going upwards like a ramp? Take a picture of what you mean idk

I accidentally deleted one of the template nodes and did my best to repair it, but I think there may be a small difference between what it is now and what it was before. Is it ok if my track goes nowhere near where the small change is?
Boulder Dash was the only good roller coaster.

Austin, never mind. I can't get the pic to link up.

I was trying to join the entrance path that you created to mine so I can make my queue area and the 2 pieces don't match up. I'll deal with.

Thank you.

Is -1.1 Vert and Lat, in one spot each, considered a "minor infraction"?

I only have maybe 2 more days I can build with, therefor I need to start support work.

My first day of actual building, and my layout is DONE, leaving me three whole weeks to work on supporting and theming. Why do some people still insist on handbuilding?

Yes it's pretty minor.. I will be kind of lenient with forces unless they get wayy outta hand. Although that many lats and verts is a lot for a b&m.. If you can shrink them a little its much better. especially the lats.

Because my dinosaur of a PC can't handle Newton (ie, system crash everytime I've tried). And it's still fun to hand build.

Why do some people insist on using nothing but tools? Are Moose purple?

...and Austin, thank you. Not sure if I can fix it. I think I saved over my non Ahg track with the Ahg version. Like I said it's only in two spots for a split second.

If your PC is that shitty, than by all means get a new one as soon as possible.

Handbuilding may be fun for some people, but in a contest, the ability to create a smooth track in just a couple days is invaluable, because you can spend almost the entire time working on other things, like scenery, which might otherwise be left not up to par because of time constraints.

You do realise the only reason anyone plays NoLimits here is for our own amusement? Or fun, in Layman's terms.

^Tunnel Test is a simple test to determine that track and train are free of obstruction for a safe ride. ie., no tree, track, support collisions. Highlight the entire track, press G, and select the tunnel option. Then run the ride in the sim, press E for free roam, go around the ride and make sure nothing protrudes the inside of the tunnel and you know if the test passes or not.

20% support work left to do
50% done with theme/station

Those looking for 3ds won't find any except for Park Pack items. I haven't practiced enough with Wings3D to make my own custom pieces.

@Startthefire: If you don't know what the tunnel test is, you probably don't have the experience for a contest.

@CokeZero: I seriously doubt that I'm the only one who has fun with a challenge, and trying to build the best ride possible. On the other hand, spending two hours to get a single transition smooth is not fun.

I can build a solid design but cannot make it smooth and I'm no good at making it follow the guidelines. I would have to have someone else do that[:(][:(][:(]

I might be a bit late, but I will definitely try to get a coaster done.

And just for reassuring, we can use tools, right?

Ok, I'm going to have to drop out. I'm going to be too busy this month to finish my coaster.
