i found this monstrosity in a rabble of forgotten tracks. this one had a "last modified date" of late 2005, so i peeked within and found, well, crap. but the layout looked promising, so i decided to smooth it out and make it work nicely so it will be presentable to you.

it's more or less inspired by the crappy side of CCI; rides such as Medusa at SFM and Zeus at Mt. Olympus being the main influences.

but worry not, i know for fact that my layout is a lot more intense than both of those rides combined (personal experience and POVs being my evidence)

view pictures and information here.

Worry not? I personally like when a ride isn't overly intense for the sake of being intense.

me too, so don't fret, it isn't an over-the-top crazy woodie. it's... i'm not sure if this will make much sense, but it's what those two woodies (the examples) would've been like had they been intense at all.

for those too lazy to scroll to the top; here's the project page.

^thank you

i'm proud to say the layout is entirely complete. however, there is two small force problems that have arisen that i can fix quickly, so all should be done by this evening.

also, i'm debating whether or not to heavily terrain it (all drops leading into a pit and turnarounds on hills) as originally planned, or keep the terrain relatively flat...

afterwards, supports will start and a custom station is in planning, and then voila!

new pics up after trackwork/terrain is done.

these are debuting at a much later time than planned for i had a change of heart for the placement of the final helix as well as the stations. also, two random nodes got deleted somehow so i need to re-smooth those areas.

view new pics at my project page and read the updated stats.

P.S. IT'S TOTALLY 1337m LONG EXACTLY!!1!eleven

P.P.S. i did not plan that.

so, this project is temporarily on hold and has been since the last update because i'm currently overwhelmed by three papers, two of which require extensive research, and the other a 10+ page short story. all of which are half complete as well as due on this friday.

but! supports should not take long, since that's all i have left do, so, i'd say plan on release possibly next week sometime? or the sunday after next.

and i promise to post pics of my lovely new terrain as well as updated statistics and the such on friday evening.

Make a goddamned RCCA. I've been the only one crazy enough to build one!

maybe, it's just that the RCCA layouts i produce are just so unsatisfying...

but i'll give it another shot. after this, and round 3.

UPDATE
So yeah, fixed one G problem that I had ignored up until now since i'm lazy. and supports will start saturday or something.

here's a really lame pic to look at the shows the terrain/environment on the big turnaround.

haha, actually... It's just that the RCCA layouts RCCA produces are just so unsatisfying. Sounds like you're pretty close to me! :P

I must admit the layout on this beast is amazing, the double banked hill looks great in the pics, well done on this.

ok, the supports are about halfway done. actually, like, a third of the way done. i have the two helices and the fan-turn and the air hill left to do.

but! they're going by fast. and i plan on having the up to the fan turn done today, so, this should all be done by Thursday at the earliest and Friday at the latest. but i'm going to upload Sunday for sure.

new information and screens on the project page! WOO!

supports are a little less then halfway done. i keep seeing areas that i feel i need to support, so i do. also, i don't have access to the computer much this week because my mom is doing report cards.

but i promise! sunday for sure! the first helix is the only hard spot i have left to do.

here's a new teaser for you as well:

EDIT:
random jerks appeared. i have no idea how, since when i'm 100% done editing the track, i turn off vertices on all angles. so now i'm trying to fix those... but other then that, it's all done.
