the helix didn't look to good on that video. it'd be an awesome ride if they would of brought it out to the lake again, there's so much useless unused room in that area, they really should of produced more of a ride after the MCBR.

Also the trains, it technically takes up no more space then an Intamin hyper, 2 seats a train, 2 cars a row, just another new take on it and experiment basically. im sure it'll be better then being in the back row of a car with two people immediately infront of you.

Uh I think the people who think families wont ride because of the seating are WAY overanalyzing the issue. What about rides that only offer 2 per seating? do they just only ride B&M rides?

You are ALL on the same car. The whole "non-family friendly" thing is kind of blowing it out of proportion. Only the most scared of riders will not sit in the outer seats and they will represent the minority of people riding.

But all 2-abreast rides feature ALL seats on the OUTSIDE. So wheres the argument now?

I hear that, Real.

One concern I would have for the back 'n' outside seats is that not only are you on the outside, but you're also alone...With no one next to you...

So? Theres a person no more than 1.5ft infront of you who you can yell at.

Plus, isnt the point of coasters to push that envelope just a little bit further?

How about on Oblivion we make the drop just 80 degrees - 90 just isnt family friendly. And instead of dropping in a cold, dark tunnel we raise it up.

I just dont see the logic there. The same person that will be scared riding alone will be STILL scared riding with a person. The fear will NOT go away. I know people who wont ride on the left side of Magnum because the catwalk is only on the right side. But when they ride - on the right side - they still curse and chatter the whole way up because they are scared.

We let our minds do too much of the talking to ourselves...

I was just suggesting that many people would actually prefer to sit together rather than sitting alone. Thats all. And 1.5 foot is very different to say a hand grasp away for someone who is extremely scared. But I do see your point though, im sure they'll benefit the ride for the majority now.

I think these new seats are great. In fact, there is space between the two rear seats for luggage and groceries. I guess it really is family friendly after all...

B&M (or the park) hires Keith McVeen's company for that. Don't know the company's site or name anymore. [:)] However, they use 3ds Max for that.

Those trains suck. They better not implement them on any other coaster.

interesting, i cant seem to figure out why the cars are shaped that way, u know, the 2 seats in front, and 2 seats in the back. What if you and your friend have to sit in the back seats...
So, my friend came up to me the other day and asked if I wanted a frozen banana, and I said no, but I want a normal banana later, so... yea.

I drove past Wonderland a few days ago and saw a wonderful sight. The lift hill looks to be taller than Minebuster now and it clearly above the heights of all the houses and other buildings around Wonderland.

It somehow does not look like 235 ft...maybe that is just the angle.

Sweet!

When you approach the park, it certainly looks tall. You can see it from pretty far away.

I see what you mean. It doesnt look 235 feet until you get to the last picture. But then it looks VERY tall. Think its because theres more to judge it against in the last picture. I cant wait to see the first drop built [:)]

It annoys me how B&M hypers have like 4 sets of supports holding an entire lift hill.
