I wouldn't mind a Morgan IF it was good. Most of the reviews of their coasters (Wild Thing, Steel Force, Steel Eel, etc.) have been dissapointing to say the least.

Now mind you, I've never ridden a Morgan, I've just read other's reviews.

^Morgans aren't the smoothest and they do look ugly, but they deliver a great ride experience, imo. I even liked Wild Thing better than Silver Star.

I've heard Phantom's Revenge was one of the better hypers out there.

Regardless, I'm not so sure CF would go with Morgan. The incident with SD2K and Wild Thing IMHO, would be a major turn off from purchasing another Morgan

Then again, if they went by that logic why would they have purchased so many Intamin's that are constantly broken?

I am really praying its not a Morgan hyper in any shape or form. I've even heard that Phantom is a bit over rated. And I think the layout on that was dictated more by the terrain and existing rides/Phantom track than what Morgan would have built normally.

Phantom wouldn't be as good as people say it is if it wasn't a terrain coaster. Morgan built something to fit the terrain. Normally they might has well created a parking lot coaster, because they don't use the terrain whatsoever.

^^ Well on that timer it says 5 days left, and the counter on the right side is up to 29 feet... and it looks like hardly a 8th full... So if that ends up being the height on the right... going up as the time counts down. Its gonna be like 240 feet tall.

GRR. Lamme. I want something that the WORLD has never seen before. Saying Canada has never seen it before is reeeeeeeeallyyy not saying much.

Seriously, they could have a 240 foot tall hill, a turn, a drop, and a brake section and it would be new to Canada...

Woop. It's not 240, it's 175.

Apparently someone decompiled the flash on the front page displaying all it's images. Epic fail. Apparently, it's about the exact same friggen coaster as Goliath at SFOG, and apparently, it's B&Suck.

God this country sucks. :)

Calaway, if you think it sucks already, PLEASE DON'T GET IN LINE AND WASTE MY TIME! I would be EXTREMELY happy if it was a clone of any Goliath.

B&M's might not be the most thrilling and intense coasters on the planet, but they sure can be a lot of fun.

And remember, 200 feet does not guaruntee greatness.

Its the same exact thing? Weird, I went to RCDB and only the 175 matched. Very interesting how you came to that conclusion.

Also, since you just categorized all B&M's to suck, dont ever ride one again. I dont want to catch you saying that Nemesis is cool or that Batman the Ride is intense and fun. Nor do I want to read how a B&M is in your top ten because saying B&Suck pretty much implies that you despise the company as a whole.

But nice try trying to sound "enthusiast".

I think he is just jealous that his little home park's best coaster is a Arrow Corkscrew. [lol]

If indeed we get a B&M, I'll be thrilled, and I will definately buy a CF Maxx Pass.

CW really needs a signature coaster, I'm sure this will be it. CalawayPark, be thankful, CF is giving us something that is greatly deserved. Our highest coaster is The Bat, a Vekoma Boomerang, at 116'.

I can't believe you're b*tching about this, who cares if it's similar to Goliath @ SFOG, I've heard that was a great ride. But if you despise this ride so much before it's even been announced, don't go to CW next year, I'm sure everyone would appreciate it. Were you expecting a Giga coaster? Be realistic, it's better than a Chance-Morgan [:D]

Plus, B&M is one of the premier steel coaster builders. They have contributed TONS to the coaster world...what would we do w/o B&M inverts? Don't say B&Suck, you just make yourself look like a complete idiot who lacks any understanding of roller coaster manufacturers. You may not like their rides, you may say they're forceless (perhaps you forgot about Raptor, Nemisis, Goliath SFOG, Talon, B:TR, etc.) but there is no way you can say that they "suck".

The only thing that I seriously fear being horrible about this new addition is the insane queue line it will have. :/

are there any coasters in canada that are over 200 feet? (sry i have no idea)

if there isn't then i see no reason why Wonderland wouldn't build the first, i mean why not?

but, look at the guy and the flash thing..it's probably just gonna be a ride similar to goliath at la ronde instead, that ride being 175ft tall. I wouldn't advertise a "175ft drop!" instead of "200ft tall", the 200ft tall sounds so much better.

edit.
it'll probably be a custom ride to me, paramount usually builds unique rides....but very similar to goliath at la ronde

The pictures on the right are not an exact copy of Goliath.

Its not a copy of ANYTHING compared to that picture. The only thing in common is the downward helix.

Which is one of those things you WANT copied - helicies rule.

They wouldn't even have the rights to copy it if they wanted to.

its up to 58 feet, what would be really cool is if that was the hieght of the second hill or something, and they were tricking us... but im sure thats not it [:(]

mabye that's just the hills in order, although it'd be hard to have a 175ft drop and then go up 163ft, unless were talking about a very steep or even vertical drop.

Steepness wouldnt have anything to do with it.

I think the height is being disclosed but thats rather the drop. It very well could "start" like Goliath SFOG and have the 200ft hill with a 175 drop, but the only reason they had the 175drop and not like a 185 or 190 drop is because of stuff underneath.

Maybe it's 175 feet high and then a 163 foot drop. That is probably more realistic. But all the hills after that are not realistically like a B&M. Maybe they are just trying to confuse us or something.
