I really hope that it's a Mack spinning coaster like Sierra Sidewinder and not a launched ride like Helix. They already have something like Helix.

Let the speculation begin since Mack crates are on site.

Oh gosh, spinning coasters are total throwaways IMO...though I've only been on the Gerstlauer ones. I'd *much* rather have a Blue Fire clone, nothing wrong with having two launched coasters. I think Blue Fire, though similar, would be different enough - especially with a prominent traditional loop.

It's probably a damned spinner though.

Kumba and Montu both have prominent vertical loops. A Blue Fire clone would be a crowd pleasure I'm sure, but in the end I disagree that it's different enough from Cheetah Hunt. It focuses more on inversions, but it's still a launched coaster that targets the mid-range thrill crowd. I think that would work better if it came 10+ years after Cheetah Hunt rather than 5 years later with no major coaster in between.

^I can't disagree. The spinner is probably a better fit T_T

I think a Gerstlauer in a mall does a corkscrew somewhere but I'm not sure.

Looks like we got a name for their new attraction. It will be called "Cobra's Curse" according to their newly filed trademark

Because deere felt he needed another thread for the same topic, but was obviously wrong. So I locked that topic and moved his post here.

Where was it said the announcement would come May 28th? Awfully early but stranger things have happened.

Screamscape is amazing. Their predictions are almost always right.
