Burning as I'm typing this. It's got several buildings involved at the Grand National ride.

oh no, the Edge might die if he sees this, keep this from his eyes, although he probably already knows and his dead body is being discovered as we speak

The fire's out now.

Grand National
Alice in Wonderful
Trauma Towers

These 3 rides were damaged and some buildings.

Quote from the BBC:
The spokeswoman Gill Bridge said it was too early to assess the extent of the damage but it is hoped the historic Grand National ride can be rebuilt.

That's really sad that it burned. I hope it isn't bad enough to where it can't be repaired.

[:(] I found out last night also, horrible news, imo The Grand National is the best coaster in the UK, but it isnt that damaged thank god. Most of the damage has occured to the station which was a replica of the original 1937 station. Im not sure on the details as how it started or the full extent of the damage, but of the damage has occured to mainly the station the trains would possibly have been damaged [:(]

I sure hope they won't replace the trains with anything new...those trains are some of the best trains still operating today [:(]

I'm afraid one of the trains has been completely written off.

I'm sure its nothing the park can't restore, sure it won't be old, but it will still be the same ride, unless they try to modify it and "make it better". And they can still keep the trains, it just won't be the same trains, but they can build it the exact same way giving it the same exact feeling.
