Well the license plate is Germany. I wonder. Probably related to Verbolten. Still nothing in Drachen Fire's Location. I am still hoping for a Spain Section.

I still would swear I saw this drawn on paper:

According to BGWFans, looks to be a woodie coming!

Check out the support structure, looks very GCI to me.

Hmm... My guess is that's an RMC because noise issues with a local neighborhood have prevented the park from getting woodies in the past, however RMCs are considerably quieter than traditional wooden coasters. Also, Busch might be reluctant to work with GCI again after the debacle with Gwazi. I guess we'll find out soon enough.

Interesting. I would not have expected a woodie for the park. Given the scale of the project, I definitely think this is more likely a GCI than an RMC, plus a GCI would probably fit the park better given the current line-up of attractions. I guess we'll know for sure in a couple days.
Coaster Count: 535 (114 wood, 444 steel); Park Count: 110
Top 5 Wood: El Toro, Voyage, Thunderhead, Outlaw Run, Boulder Dash

I honestly don't understand why you hate GCI so much lol. I've only ridden Thunderhead and Apocalypse but those were fun, albeit Apocalypse was rough as hell because of Six Flags maintenance skills.

They just got Verbolten! They don't need another family ride.

GCI can do more than just family rides. Look at the two big coasters they built in China. I'd love to see a huge GCI terrain coaster here!

Really? I'd be surprised. Of all companies why they would want to get something from GCI, considering they only got like 11 good years out of Gwazi, if that.

4-Skyrush | 5-Iron Rattler | 6-X2 | 7-Kingda Ka

Can we expect an action-packed woodie like Roar-O-Saurus? Proudly built as a RMC version that must provide inversions! I say one roll at least, a few rolls at best, considering the size of a layout!

:)

I'm reserving my judgments until I actually see the thing, but I'm not getting excited. However, if they do something really awesome with a GCI, it would fulfill something that the park needs badly- wood. Lol.

Social media sources at the announcement are confirming it is a GCI woodie. New France area of park, Viking themed, 2000 ft track length, 50 mph, and ~75-80 ft drop into ravine.

In 2017, a great battle will ensue in the trappers' village of New France. Vikings will invade, forcing the trappers to defend their village. Invade new territory on the first wooden coaster at Busch Gardens Williamsburg. The 74-foot drop makes it a force to be feared and nine airtime hills wait to be conquered by bold warriors. Chart a course through the winding frontier at 48 mph and claim eternal glory for your crew.

Voting Viking Raider. It's easily the one that they tried the least for. The other two feel so forced.
Coaster Count: 582 // Top Five: 1. Helix 2. Nemesis 3. Big Bad Wolf 4. Boulder Dash 5. Balder

Has this park had major decline in attendance over the last decade or something? Their past two additions have been kinda tiny.

All of the SeaWorld parks are having financial troubles.

InvadR is easily the worst name out of all those. Sounds like some terrible, 10edgy12me-type name Six Flags would come up with for their "all-new relkocsated bckawsards single-criucit larosn loop roller cosater with ctutimng-edge VR technology!!!1!!111" Yet based on the comments on the site, it seems like it's the most popular name right now among the three. Meaning it's probably going to be the final name of this ride, no matter how horrible it really is. Fluorometholone.
