Well, im really looking into buying a camcorder for some povs and other things. Right now my price range is less than $350, but i may go up to $400, if anyone has some great ideas or anything, that would be nice, or, if anyone on the site has a camera that they recommened, that would be greatly apprecited too. Also, i would like it to be able to take still pictures while now in recording mode, and seem like a regular camera, but its not completely nesessary. Thanks for your help.[:)]

I just got a 8.3 MPXL camera, it may not be what you are looking for but if you get a large memory card and have a DVD burner it works better than a video camera... and I paid $180 for the camera and $25 for a 2G SD card.

I am willing to sell you my Sony DCR-HC26 camera that was used to film the Knotts Scary Farm Event for $300, shipping included. It was only used once to film that event and hasn't been used since.

I think for your budget you should go with the Sony Handycam DCR-HC30. It's gotten good ratings is relatively cheap at $279. But, if you're willing to go into the $350-400 range, I'd say the Sony DCR-DVD108 DVD Handycam.
