I doubt B&M would be okay with a sloppy footer like that.

Valvran is a kind of raven so I suspect a wing coaster with that name which would probably be going to CW.

What the hell is that word?

Also, If it's going to CW, I'm going to be sad. I wanted it to be Ziz.

^+1 It would be cool if they completed the the "Behemoth, Leviathan, and Ziz" series

It would be cool if CW completed the series but I wonder if they think Ziz won't go over well with the GP? It is definitely the least prominent of the three and doesn't sound large or ominous like Behemoth or Leviathan. Idk if the Valravan name is a fit for CP, but I definitely want to see a dive coaster come to the Point.

Reading the folk lore, it seems like that would be for one of the future CF dark rides
What are these for?

Sorry to burst your bubbles, but Cedar Point filed that not Cedar Fair. So CW's coaster is out of the question.

^Whoops, didn't catch that! Perhaps it is for their dark ride or maybe they will be getting a dive after all.

I personally think Cedar Point could use a GCI or RMC woodie more than a Dive Coaster because the lack of a top-notch woodie seems to be the one chink in Cedar Point's coaster armor, but I'm sure the dive coaster will still go over well.

Unpopular opinion, but I've ridden plenty of GCI coasters, none of them stood out to me.

Gold Striker and Wood Coaster look phenomenal IMO and I really can't wait to see what GCI does with Viper.

Why do so many people not like GCI? There's really nothing to not like, they're twisty, airtime filled and still family friendly. Stop treating them like Intamin's and you'll love them.

^I completely agree. GCI's seem very underrated, when they're actually pretty great.

Because all other rides with the same amount of air (basically none) are universally hated, whereas the GCI's are somehow elevated to god status. They're the Apple products of coasters.

They have way more airtime than most B&M hypers.

^Despite the fact that B&M hypers are designed for floater, I disagree. Depending on whether it's old or new school, they can offer some strong airtime depending on your seat; GCI's don't really have too much at all.

Ever since GCI build a bunch of woodies over here the most enthusiasts go like: "OMG, GCI is awesome". I don't call that underrated. The coasters are fun, but it's nothing like Boulder Dash or Boardwalk Bullet.

This, but then without the pricetag of an apple product. GCI's are one of the cheapest wooden coasters you can buy on the current amusement market. Heck the reason so many parks buy them.

I have limited experience with GCI...Roar and Gwazi in their prime were good coasters, though clearly the aging process is unkind. Outlaw Run is vastly superior to those coasters on their best day, though I'm sure some of the newer GCIs are better as well. In my opinion Cedar Point's best case scenario is for a topper track conversion of Mean Streak in a new layout. For 2016 this seems highly unlikely with all the moving and shaking in and around the Good Time Theater's former location.

One important thing to note about the dive coaster possibility is that the $15M figure is probably just B&M's fee before the investment of site clearing/grading, labor, station, and any additional construction materials. The components of the coaster alone do not represent total project cost.

I just checked the webcams, and looked inside the old theater section... I think there are markers in there... Lots... Look to the right of the picture.

If you're referring to the little grey things, it's probably leftover footers, miscellaneous pipes that need to be removed from utilities, etc.
