Whenever I'm on that ride I always think, "Wow this whole thing is about ready to collaps and I'm going to die." Hahahahahah JK. But back on topic I would love to see a B&M Flyer put in. Cedar Fair Would have 2 new B&M's in Ohio! Hahaha! But after KD got Itamin they might get ANOTHER Intamin which I wouldn't mind. But probably there getting nothing. Who knows

I still like Demon Drop and will miss it when it's gone. I try to ride it at least once a season. I still think it's drop is better than Power Tower either up or down. I'm starting to think the Woodie is what they are going to do, although I'm not that happy about it.

Mean Streak is a nightmare, I enjoyed riding it the first season it was open. I was in high school at the time, and more than anything it looks like an imposing ride. I was pretty disappointed with the first hill, the angle was poo poo and it seemed like you never got over the top. The vibration was tolerable but still violent. Now, I don't ride it. The last time I did a few years ago I thought I was going to need a chiropractor when I got off.

Blue Streak is old school but a lot smoother. I have really never been a fan of The Beast, and never rode Son of Beast with or without the loop. Gemini doesn't count as a Woodie, so my experiences with woodies show that I don't like them very much. Cedar Point rarely disappoints, So I've got my fingers crossed for a great new ride for 2010!

I love it! I rode it many times in a row yesterday. What a rush, and the setting and lift and everything is fantastic. I love it!

They already have everything planned, and probably have for the last year.

I'd go even farther and say its been planned for a couple of years.
They said Maverick was planned out back in 2004, so I wouldn't be surprised if this new attraction(s) hasn't been in the agenda for quite some time now.

I mean serious about talking about it and revealing it...they are now gonna start focusing on all the teasers and such to get us thinking.

I would like them to Tear out Cedar Creek Mine Ride and Re-Do it with true mining tunnels and a couple of launch sequences and make it bigger and badder with 2 lift hills. I would like it to cross over the river to the other side with faster spin drop at the end. Make Cedar Creek Mine Ride 2010 please. Its time for a new mine ride in town. It would make a great edition to the Western section of the park and make family ride together. Let make something for all age groups as this was the first coaster I rode when I was young.

Actually that wouldn't be a bad idea...although with what they have already been saying...I would hope that if they did do that it would be announced sooner and not built up OR if they do tht for next year have something else as well.

That would've been awesome. But make it a woodie mine train.

With the exception of parks that buy existing coasters and build them, most rides are in development for at least 1-2 years before its actually built. And for woodies sometimes, during the time its being erected they are still changing things (aka, Voyage)

What did they change on Voyage while it was being built?

They added another 90 degree turn or something along those lines in the "twister" section.

More than that if I remember from the video correctly. Several times the plans for the next section of footers wasnt given to the foreman till a day or 2 before they had to start that section.

Darn it, that would've been cool.

So, since they've already ruled out Aquatrax and B&M, but essentially said GCI, I'm betting all my chips on a GCI woodie. And I would be celebrating, because Cedar Point REALLY needs a good wood coaster.

I'm thinking GCI. To me that just seems to fit
Coaster Count: 582 // Top Five: 1. Helix 2. Nemesis 3. Big Bad Wolf 4. Boulder Dash 5. Balder

Deff. GCI is the best choice here. A park that is America's Roller Coast and lacks a good fast and fun woodie that is not a simple out and back seems very odd. Hopefully they fix it!!!

HAHA actually...isn't Shockwave at KD up for sale?? (or hasn't it been for several years?)

http://www.coastergallery.com/2000/pkd23.html

Or is that false info??...Because they did have a lunch TOGO joke on twitter a while ago.

Just wondering, as I've never been on a TOGO, but what kind of painful are they? Are they Mean Streak painful, Mantis painful, kiddie coaster painful, etc.?

Oh, and I agree on the GCI notion. However, a Eurofighter would have been more appropriate in my opinion, but I always knew it was near impossible.

Think of Mean Streak. OK, now think of an Arrow mega-looper. Combine them together and you still wouldn't equal to pain of a TOGO.
Oh, were you expecting something here?

This is true...I have only been on one TOGO and that was Shockwave at KD and although I had fun on the ride...it wasn't exactly smooth. I would prefer Mean Streak or GASM at SFGADV first LOL.

Anyone who has seen this KNOWS how funny yet true it is...those who havn't...you will know.

This is a TOGO BTW in case you didn't know...it's Manhattan Express out in Vegas.

Screamscape said the ride would be more family oriented, which is definitely what GCI does.
