Really now? Before you guys try to make me look like the idiot, notice that the link was NEVER posted, NEVER talked about, and NEVER mentioned in Cedar Point's facebook updates that GCI and TOGO were out of the list of possiblilities.

Hmm, possibilities.. Some people have mentioned Demon Drop and Disaster Transport being dismantled was a possibility to make way for a new coaster. It LOOKS like there could be enough room for something to go there, but it would be a tight fit unless they use some of the parking lot. Checking out space over by Millennium Force, there is a massive amount of land running along side the coaster. Original satellite images from: http://www.bing.com/maps/

From what we have seen and heard from Cedar Point, I'm guessing that it will be in the area by Millennium Force.

There is plenty of room in that spot to make a good sized coaster.

If it's an Inta-woodie maybe not something of El Toro's type...but ti could certainly be something like a El Toro/Balder Mix.

From CP's FaceBook, "Cedar Point is not building an S&S, a B&M, a Grav. Group, a Mack, or a Gerstlauer."

Maybe the link wasn't posted but you still didn't care to read the thread. So before we try making you look like an idiot, maybe we should just wait for you to do it by yourself [;)]

No that's not quite right. It's because you threw attitude when confronted with "this has already been said".

Tetsu knows better than to be a hussy.

All you have to do is say "this was already posted" not "dur dur dur/ yeah stupid read the forums" I was offended by that, a simple, non-demoting response would have been fine, just don't treat me like an idiot.

Well, "This week" is over so he won't post anymore hints, He usually posted them at 12 noon, but since it is saturday and not a weekday, we are bum nothing for clues.

Gosh, after reading Pointbuzz, pretty much EVERYONE over there thinks its a Flume, which I really do not want.
Cedar Point FTW

I don't want a flume either unless it's something like Journey to Atlantis...but they also said it would not be an aquatrax so IDK.

BTW I got home at 330 this AM check out my trip report from Busch Gardens.

I actually somewhat agree with the Wing Rider theor thinking of Furius Baco trains, and make the cars have Beer Barrels in the center, kinda like FB. But we still have yet to find out.

Iron Dragon needs to go! It is a suck butt ride. When there are no belts or item bins, you know its gonna boring. They could easily put a decent sized coaster where Iron Dragon is. I know this isn't what's happening now, but its just a thought.

Phoenix has no belts and loose items are allowed on it yet it is called one of the top 5 wood coasters in the world.

ID is a decent family ride, which is something they need. I can't see them replacing it.

BBW was a family ride too, but it's fate has been sealed. Which could mean ID may face the same fate in the near future for all we know.
Oh, were you expecting something here?

Your right about that rcking04. Iron Dragon will be leaving CP in the years to come as it seems all the rides of its type are dying or have died alreayd.

I actully like the idea of a flume. Since they lost WWL for Maverick, I think they need one. I wouldnt be suprised if all the flumes CF has deastroied at CP, CW, and VF! come back to those parks at some point.

Very true. ^

I've never seen a wait that looked longer than 30 mins for ID. Nor have I ever waited that long. Family ride, or not, a bigger, more intense coaster, would be better on the financial aspect.

^ Perhaps. But CP needs ID for now. If they lose even one rollercoaster now, they lose the record for most coasters in a park. Another main reason behind keeping it is the family coaster factor. CP is catering to all with rides like, CCMR, ID, Corkscrew, DT, and Wildcat. While the "ride worriors" ride on (get it?) larger more thrill enducing rides.

Iron Dragon is not in the same league as Big Bad Wolf (the latter being far more intense....not really a family ride) and Busch Gardens is NOT Cedar Point. Big Bad Wolf beat itself up quite a bit so it was costing them money....I've never seen/heard anything that indicates ID is any sort of trouble in that regard.

Taking out a ride they already have and have already paid for and putting in a ride that caters to a demographic that they already have plenty of rides that do makes financial sense? They're losing a ride they do need to add a ride they don't need. For a company that's in debt...that doesn't make sense at all. Also....30 minute waits indicates that the ride is still pretty popular.

Iron Dragon isn't going anywhere...not at this point anyway...it is too much of an asset to anchor down the park in a way. It is a family ride in a part of the park heavily populated by thrill rides and they need a good mix throughout the park lke they do now to keep the park balanced.
