Inversions aside, I personally like it when Rougarou makes a pre-drop, too! Its snap is wonderful! :)

And yes I know the red needs to extend up a bit where the seats are mobile but I cannot find where to color it in the texture :(

Hey guys!

Well, expect more updates here just before we start this update. :D

Anyways, I have been working on TTD (quite stressful actually, this thing is a pain in the arse ). Still have not gotten to perfect length yet (Mine 2730, IRL 2800)! Pics:

PS: FYI, dragster (NL2) did get a repaint but it isn't shown xD

Thanks for the offer, but I think I'll be able to manage by myself. They're pretty pass-able as is, and it might be something you don't have the option of coloring anyways.

Is it possible to make the footers round and add like a square plain footing? Kinda a bit under the round one? And if you want to make the recreation more accurate, count all of the ties, tracks,.............................................etc. :D

All the footers look pretty square to me.

The flanges look small on the concrete footings. Thought they were round.

Time for the bi-monthly "exact same photo as before update". Progress includes:
*Dive loop updated
*Vertical loop updated
*Inclined loop updated
*A (1/4 done) station exists!

Thanks for everyone's patience. Also if anyone has a remedial idea how to do a grated flooring PLEASE contact me. Many stairs and the station floor in places are a grated flooring I have no idea how to create.

EDIT: Bonus screenie:

For those wondering, the image file from Google Earth I'm using is not flat, the terrain in the park is flat aside from the "lagoon" as they call it and what will eventually be part of one exit ramp. Here is a different kind of progress pic this week:

A WIP queue exists! Pic is taken from the perspective of the poor bastard going deaf working fast lane. Bonus misery if it's 5PM and the sun is absolutely blinding.

Hi guys sorry about the lack of updates. Work has been hectic but now things have slowed down. I managed to create a somewhat decent grate texture. I struggle a bit with scenery so sometimes it comes off as cartoony but I'm giving it my best effort. Here are some nontraditional unfinished pictures.

A common photo opportunity from the exit:
Image

Very unfinished shot of the station. This station is a butt and I'd like to smack whoever thought a random octagon on top of a rectangle with elevators and random staircases jutting out at odd angles was a good idea:
Image

To do:
1. Railings in the station, under the station, queue railings, and choo-choo railings.
2. Floating bridges, entrance stairs. These should be easy since they're at 90 degree angles.
3. Thicken the chain link fence texture so you can actually see it.
4. Onride photo building
5. Ride op booth that doesn't suck.
6. Entrance sign.
7. Block brake stairs.
8. Miscellaneous little details like the work box, lights in the station, lift motor, etc
9. Trees
10. Repaint everything for Rougarou and add magnets to main brake lol

It looks like a ton, but it really should fill in and stop looking cheap soon. Thanks for tolerating my slowness.

You can get the flat beam effect B&M sometimes uses for the cobra roll half loop parts if you connect some box beams to a similar sized beam.

^^ Your "Cobra Roll" element sounds like giving soft g's, specially at the first twist. :)

Hey guys!

Your overlord Tony Clark won't be able to post any updates until the 4th-5th b/c I'm right now on vacation. Sorry guys! I'm sure CKmwm will keep you updated on his Manti-rou rec while I'm gone. :)

Time to spam the thread with another update!

Exit ramp is done, and I've been working on various detailing projects around the ride. Queue entrance is almost done, and it should really start to fill in once I get the foliage and stuff placed. Lots of little things have been placed, edited, and fiddled with.

I'll start with the pic I always take. Look towards the bottom of the image to see most of the progress:
Image

And here is an overview of the area. Can't wait to finish up the queue area so it really starts to look complete:
Image

If anyone is curious I finally figured out (I think) what they did to make the squiggle on the first drop. It's not banked. That's it lol. Again thanks for the encouragement and tolerating my sloth-like building speeds.

I've never been to Cedar Point so I can't really see how accurate everything is but the station starts to look pretty nice!
