^I've already been on it, and I think it's fantastic; I won't be returning to FL for quite a while, so I'm rather frustrated, because it's already been four years since I last (first) went on Montu.

(PS: My credit count is 150 right now; only two of them, Mind Eraser @ SFA and Coney Island's Cyclone, will I choose to not ride. In other words, most rides that people say suck, I generally enjoy quite a bit.)

So true. It feels like every other B&M invert. Seriously, go ride Kumba all day.

Kumba is great, but personally I like SheiKra the best. Most people think SheiKra is overrated, but the first drop is just incredible. I also really like Gwazi. The back seat has nice airtime, and I'm sure with the new trains it will be even better. commission takeover

montu is not overrated. ONLY thing wrong with kumba is the noise it makes.
>.<
SheiKra is a step down from griffin because it only have one inversion. Overall, good park and i go from VA every year.

I have been on many B&M inverts, and Montu is the best one I've ever been on.

In my opinion, out of both Busch Parks, the Tampa one has the better rides. SheiKra is better than Griffon, and Montu is far superior to Aplengeist.
Oh, were you expecting something here?

^I would argue against you actually. This is what I like about CC, how this just comes up and we can be free to debate. I think Alpengeist and Montu are pretty even and I'd put Griffon slightly over SheiKra. And honestly, Apollo's Chariot is one of my all time favorite. I think Cheetah Hunt will even out this argument, but BGE is also getting a new coaster too. I think they are very even parks, but Apollo puts BGE slightly ahead in my book just because BGA really lacks a hyper.

Busch Gardens Europe will never in any way be better than Busch Gardens Tampa because of Gwazi and Kumba.

I'm still in love with that roll...
So, my friend came up to me the other day and asked if I wanted a frozen banana, and I said no, but I want a normal banana later, so... yea.

I find BGE to be far superior to BGA.

Alpengeist and Montu both do the same exact damn thing...
Apollos Chariot is 10x better than anything at BGA
Griffon is tons better than Sheikra
Lochness Monster is fun while Gwazi is...a nap

Has anyone else noticed the strange combination of box supports and tubes?

Also, I'm not a big fan of that roll. It looks like something n00bs do in Newton that would get bashed on this site for being too "Newton-y".

Also, it's looking to me like this will be a totally new style of ride for intamin. Instead of focusing on fast transitions and high vertical G forces, this seems to place more emphasis on lateral G's? Unless I'm completely misjudging the speed that this will have? It just looks like if it's not fast enough to produce some pretty heavy lats, it's not going to be fast enough to produce any sort of enjoyable ride. And yes, I've watched the POV several times, but I still don't believe the physics in that video.

SURPRISE: Intamin designs their rides to have laterals.

This is looking awesome...I must say I'm excited to go and also ride Gwazi with the MF trains. That is something that BGE does not have and something I think they could use...a good wooden coaster.

Also: Anyone know why the sign says "Cheetah Run" in stead of "Cheetah Hunt"?

Cheetah Run is a feature of the Cheetah exhibit accompanying the ride.

Of course there are some lateral forces, but most of their recent rides have obviously placed the emphasis on high vertical G's, while this one seems, with its low banking, to switch that emphasis.

You're from Switzerland and know the correct pronunciation for the region they're from along with the proper accent? Interesting.

Glad you know it all since you have such a firm grasp on gravity and other high level concepts. Must be the prescription pills you've been popping illegally to get high.
