I think this ride is going to be awesome! I don't know what about that turn everyone dislikes, and regardless it is just one turn, lol.

Someone explain to me what's "ugly" or "shitty" here, I honestly don't see it.

Also, the track will not fall over, trust me...

^ Lol, yeah. If those crazy supports on Great Bear can hold up the track, I think these could do the same.

After having some time to think, that turn could actually be pretty fun. It'd actually be pretty cool to ride up into that turn, have a second to see what's next, then you swoop down into the trench and explode into the exciting part.

Wow. That's what she said.

We now have an excuse to build supports like that then! YAY, I have some tracks that close to the scenery...[:P]

I guess that turn COULD be fun, we'll see what they do with it...

Lol, suddenly people are 'thinking' about their posts and realize that one turn isn't something to be disappointed about, eh?

TBH, the turn kinda reminds me at the turn at 00:32 in this video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UV_CN0pcxyU

It's a bit weird to ride, and it pulls quite some lats...

The supports look awesome on CH!

It's refreshing to see that they are making an aesthetic effort with the supports, opens up the window for us to do it with our rides and not get destroyed by other members' rates.

rip ride rockit has a support like those on its turn out of the building and up into the stall turn
but it would be funny if the train went through the turn and stalled and then the the track fell off the supports..
this ride looks okay..
im not willing to stand in line for it if it is more then two hour wait though
i remeber when i went to busche gardens when they were still making us guess what this was and seeing that trench..
looks good and tight and dark :)

That first turn looks like its gonna be really intense. Definately pulling some serious lats.

Yeah that's what I was going to say. I'm willing to be the lateral gs are going to be very low if not 0 on that turn.

It dumps directly into a launch. That's why.

Yeah, it's a ride progression thing. Also, lats won't be 0, but they won't necessarily be all that strong. Impossible to tell the speed at this point with a launched ride, other than to trust the preview video.

You also have to remember that this section of the ride is the one near buildings and walkways, and not the part out over the savanna. They may have just been limited in the area they were able to build.
Boulder Dash was the only good roller coaster.

^ With an inversion? That could be argued due to the speed, launches, intensity, etc... It would be pretty intense for a family coaster. It's kinda like saying Rita is a family coaster... Unless it is. Then I spoke too soon.

Pretty sure the supports are weird like that to dodge an obstacle. I don't see why they'd use extra material for the hell of it.

Then again this exists so maybe not:

Also take into account how far the supports are INTO the ground.

I think this type of turn can be really fun if done well and think all of you guys complaining are just retarded. Every turn doesn't have to bank 90 degrees and pull 4 gs. Looks really cool to me and I can't wait to ride.

Based on the concept art of the ride it may be for aesthetics. They might hang those banner thingies up between the supports.
