Do you fail to notice that you crossed the red boundary?

Q: I am building inside the template, I'm just wondering if I'm allowed to build beyond where the blue boundary ends
A: Illegal. You must stay within the area between the blue and the red lines.

5.8 is a little bit too much, but if you can get it down to around 5.2 I'll accept it with no deductions. The reference coaster "X-coaster" has 5 g's in the pullout from the drop.

Thx[:D] 5.2 should work[:P]

EDIT: Done it [:p]

Another qeustion:Tallest inversion do you measure height between the 150*+ point and the point where the track reaches 0* again??

No, it's the height from the ground. You would think that it would be relative to the track, but when I looked at the loop for "Raptor", which every coaster statistics website lists as having a 100 ft loop, it only had a track difference of about 85 ft. So I'm pretty sure that it's height from the ground in the real world too.

^That is correct for inversions. For drops, it is track to track. Say a 200ft tall coaster has a drop of 195ft, just as an example.

On another note, it's going to be down to the last minute if I can get a track submitted within the G force guidelines. So I'm not sure if I'll be able to finish. Just don't count me out yet.

Sorry fot double post but heres an other question, if i make a fast lift around 30km/h,
but instead of chain i use a combination of LIMs en brakes so the train gets to a certain point safely in case of an Estop would you count this as a launch or a lift

If the coaster's primary speed comes from the LIMs, it's a launch. If it's from the size of the first hill, it's a lift. Granted, in each case, the faster it is, the more expensive. At the critical point between them, though, the difference is rather small, and the definition really doesn't matter any more.

Oops...I thought Premier was allowed and I just finished a full Premier layout and started supporting :(.

I just used RCDB to reference for records.

Any chance you could add it? Pretty much every major style is allowed except for Premier...who built rides in the 90s and still does today (Round About + KWs 2010 coaster)

^Since someone did mention it way back on page 2 or 3, sure. Just give me a while to find the records for it.

CJD, very important question.

Since my passes under the wheel are very close to the boundary, I had to lower the land outside of the template. Is it ok if the supports for THE WHEEL are outside of the boundaries? That is the only way to support the wheel.

^Yes, you can. Anything that does not help to support the coaster counts as scenery, which was not mentioned in the boundary restrictions.

^Sweet. Well, mine is not coming along very well. I have a decent layout, not very much over budget, but I just can't seem to get the g forces under control. Supporting takes me a long time, so it'll be cutting it close. I hope I can turn it in on time if I can control the g's. For the ride type I'm doing it will break tallest and steepest drop, speed and tallest inversion. Maybe.
